- Going into the second week of living out of our van, I thought we would be starting to ease into the rhythm of things by now... but of course, I was quickly proven wrong! This week was full of its own unique suit of challenges.
Vanlife is keeping me on my toes and teaching me every single day how to be more resilient, flexible and adaptable. Which, while not always beautiful, is a pretty wonderful thing after all!

I did this years ago …met an American lady …we decided to hitch around Aussie…my god …best thing l did….but that was years ago. .l am a lot older now and have three dogs…yet l would love to do it again but in a van…l have a beautiful old hiace and l am sure she would get me there ….we will see….safe travels

If you're living the life that's what I'd imagine is the main thing, whether your having good or bad luck. I just bought a little Mercedes van so I can hit the road too. Need to prepare well though and I'm pretty poor so a lot of saving in store.

Thanks so much for a beautiful video. I really enjoyed it. Your personal reflections are great to listen to. We have a jayco rm 19 which we travel in and had a flat battery just when we were checking out of a caravan park at Evans Heads. But it gave us an opportunity to chat with some people around us. Safe travels. I have just subscribed

My trick for me to get used to van life was a portable bidet!!

Yet to be determined @@michaelconover1559 😅 No A/C in the van, just an air max fan. So far we’ve only been travelling through winter and more temperate climates, so sooner or later we will need to figure something out!
@@jessiwanderingpark up somewhere that has shade and then spend the hottest parts of the day in public air con if you have to.
@@jessiwandering have you heard of the Mini split 12v air conditioner..that might help

There were some beauties @@lukestoolbox ! The bugs definitely try to bring down the vibe sometimes… working on some bug nets as we speak 🤣 But nowhere near as bad as you’d think!
