    Here it is, one of the hottest day in Texas 102 degrees and I'm looking at Christmas recipes. That's how bad I wish summer was over! lol Thanks for sharing your recipes. I just made a folder with all your recipes. They all look fabulous and many look very easy and fast, my favorite!! I've been serving about the same things every year for over 30 years and I decided to make everything different this year. They all look so good, my mouth is watering. Thanks again and keep them coming in.

    big hint on the bacon brown sugar sausage rolls... put the bacon on a tray, sprinkle with brown sugar then roll the sausage up. cuts out having to roll them in the sugar after you rolled then up. we make 1000's of these every year and it saves a ton of time.

    I sure am going to try these! Especially the little crustinies! I do my little smokies a bit different, easier for sure. I wrap them u and put them in a pan on the stove sprinke brown sugar on top add 1/2 cup of water in the pan, put on medium low heat and cook for half hour or so.and plate them. It is so easy this way, put a lid on your pan stir and flip them over so all sides get cooked. I happen to have a cast iron pan I love to use. The even heat makes it easy. I'm going to check the blog too!

    For the Oyster Cracker snack...instead of vegetable oil...we use Orville Redenbacker butter flavor popcorn oil. Just takes it up a level. Can also be done on pretzel sticks!

    👍Good ideas. I make bacon wrapped dates (pits removed) and they’re always a big hit. I also like setting up a mashed potato station with all of the toppings. I arrange martini and wine glasses so guests can build their own with the toppings of their choice in the glasses. It’s always a hit too. 💞

    You need to soak those bamboo skewers in water, before you put food on them. I know no one wants to have a splinter caught somewhere inside their mouths. Just saying.

    • @MissCrystal
      @MissCrystal  4 года назад +3

      I don't soak them unless they are going in the oven. You should ALWAYS pull food off in the direction of the pointed end to avoid splinters. In doing this, I've never had a problem.

    These sound so good! I'll have to make them for our Christmas Eve. My family likes the lil smokies in bbq all day in crock pot.They are our football favorite. We also love the graham crackers with butter and brown sugar. Yum! Thanks for sharing.~Dana

      danapride We used to always to the smokies in BBQ sauce. It's easier for sure, lol. I just had smoked sausage in sauce at a recent party and I'll probably try that. :)
