A little tip to make your cannoli dip better: The ricotta in the US is not like what you find in Italy. But if you put whole milk ricotta in a strainer lined with cheesecloth and weight it down (I use a plate and & a 14oz unopened can good), then put the strainer in a bowl to catch the whey and leave it in the fridge at least 24 hrs. Most of the whey will drain out and your ricotta will be thick and creamy.
@@kaebella2259love watching people cook but I really don't understand the whole blocks of cream cheese as though it's a staple...I use heavy cream and butter but NEVER cream cheese, not Velveeta either
I love that she gave us options and ideas. It doesn’t have to be done like that but there’s something else that’s pretty easy or other things that could be used. Great radio I’ll be doing two recipes from it this year for Christmas dinner.
These all look so good. I am excited to make some of your treats from different shows for my husband’s coworkers here in Saudi Arabia. It is not a big Christmas culture but it’s definitely a big food culture. I love introducing new food to his coworkers that are from all over the world here on the Red Sea.
Oh ,I cant wait to make the cannoli dip , My whole family will love this , as living in Texas the past almost 16 years , not many places have real Cannolis . God bless you. Josette Tharp Montgomery County, Texas
If you want your cream cheese to mix with fewer/no lumps, just add a tiny bit of the liquid to start, and then a little bit more very gradually. It’s a trick that works with just about everything to reduce/eliminate lumps.
Hi Maria! Thanks for sharing! It all looks so good! Thanks so much for thr Thanksgiving planning printable it was fantastic and so lovely to look at! Hope you will put out a Christmas version!! :) Hope it is a happy & healthy Christmas for you!
You’re welcome!! You can find my Christmas planner here: mealswithmaria.site/get-all-my-free-downloadable-content-here/ and for the desserts, I would eat them both within 3 days. Store them in a container in the fridge ❤️
Thank you for all the appetizer and meal ideas! And yes…I bought raspberries for a ladies’ church function this week…oh my gosh, they were so pricey this week here, so I just got a few of them and ended up buying more strawberries instead!
My Christmas candy is called Sweet N Savory. You lay a 16" piece of waxed paper across an 8" x 8" pan. Fill half the bottom with salted peanuts. Break 15 thin pretzel sticks into 4 pieces each. Add in and stir. Melt 1 lb vanilla flavored white chocolate melts according to the pkg instruments and pour slowly on top of the pretzels and peanuts. Carefully spread out with a spoon and poke the white chocolate underneath each piece or they'll fall out when you break it up. Sprinkle on top either colored sugar or Christmas themed shaped sugar pieces. Chill 15 minutes.
These all look so amazingly delicious! I'm a newer subscriber and was wondering do you have a recipe for sausage balls on here? I know there's lots online but everything I've made of yours has been wonderful so I know my family will LOVE them! Plus my son has been begging me to make them for Christmas and I promised him I would.
Aw I’m so glad you’re here! And thank you!!! Unfortunately, I don’t, my husband is not a huge fan of sausage so I don’t cook with it often. But I believe Jessica O’Donohue makes them and I trust her recipes ❤️ here is her short for ones with apple and I think it explains it ruclips.net/user/shortssyddEYonxq8?si=RJ6VWHmJan-d9C37
@MealsWithMaria you're very welcome! I'm the one in my family who doesn't care for sausage either lol. Thank you so much for sharing her link! I'll go check it out.
Are you from Missouri? Noticed tablerock hoodie! I’m in Raymore but have family down south. Ham is yummy looking!! Going to try your mini cheesecake bites never used raspberries
We do not like wings so wonder if the same recipe can be followed using chicken legs. The wings look delicious; however, I am surprised that she did not wash the chicken wings prior to cooking.
I don't think there is/was a real Betty Crocker. I think she was sort of a persona that was made up. But they may have based Betty Crocker's personality/image off of a woman who did exist. Not 100% sure about the last part, though. I just know Betty was not a real person.

And no cream cheese needed.

Where did You get the baking dish for the cheese cake? Thank you
It’s these here: amzn.to/3NFaNhQ ❤️
Yummy 😋❤
😀
Thanks Mom on Christmas.
cannoli is my all time favorite dessert where did you get those cannoli chips?
Maria.. Love figs. I have some in the freezer from summer.. How can I use them after I thaw them out??
Jam!!!
Candied orange peel with the cannoli
Could put craisins and pistachios on tree charcuterie board. 😁
The pee-can one looked really good )
Wow, talk about spreading cheer! These are all winners in my book. Thanks for considering the expense as well. You're the best, Maria
How far ahead can the recipes be made? I have an open house and I’m trying to avoid being stuck in the kitchen as people arrive.
Toast the nuts 1st and a smaller chop would be beneficial.
Hi Maria 👋🏻
I can’t find the link to the balsamic glaze
❤

That's a cheese and fruit board, as charcuteries are meat boards.
Wooo! Look at those nails!❤
