This is what happens when you have 3 of the greatest musicians ever do solos all at the same time. RUSH and Cleveland have a long history as it was the first place in the US to play their music. So they like to give back, and boy did they with this version. They went freaking mental.
Yeah, knowing that Donna Halper and Cleveland more or less gave us Rush, puts a little extra validation on the "best audience ever" from Geddy. Means a little more with that context.
@@Steve_Blackwood Also to this day, if you're playing in front of a Cleveland audience, go off: guitar solo, bass solo, drum solo, organ solo... we will cheer until we're hoarse.
The band even put out a video for Spirit of Radio in June that's an animation that pays tribute to Rockline/KLOS's Bob Coburn (RIP), KMET's Jim Ladd, and especially WMMS's Donna Halper.

Greeting from London, Ont. Canada Jamel/Jamal - love your channel!
I have been a Rush fan for 45 years, and I stand as amazed today as I did when I heard them for the first time. Always in the back of my mind is how can so much music come from just 3 people?
Makes me proud to be a Clevelander and a Rush fan. I remember when WMMS (“weed makes me smile”) 101 FM The Buzzard started playing their tracks and from there they catapulted to international success. I was a Rush geek growing up and saw them in 1986. Great reaction Jamal.
a guitar solo, bass solo, and minor drum solo all in the same song at the same time and they make it come back to work. yeah....only RUSH!. seeing them live was and playing this song on the Time Machine Tour was crazy amazing. Keep it up man. doing great
Yesssssss. Rush are back. I'm jealous of your Rush gear, that t-shirt is fantastic. You just made my day... 2 Rush reactions. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!!
I saw this with my brother and his best friend at the Manchester Arena (the same place 22 people were murdered by a bomber in 2017). They played Moving Pictures end to end and then had fun playing with most of their other music. Rush were always their best live.
Cleveland was first to give them radio air play. Rush were a bit outside the mainstream at the time. This performance was absolutely stellar. I’d like to see some 20yr olds with that kind of skill and endurance. These three awesome dudes put out a hell of a body of work. They experimented and adapted through the eras, survived through tragedy and retired still at the top of their game. Thank you Jamal for your reaction. I was right with you smiling ear to ear. Rush does that. They leave you in a better place.
Few bands play(ed) 3 hour concerts. Rush did! And they put as much energy in the closing song as they did in all the others the hours before. Phenomenal band!
Geddy, Alex, and Neil are definitely in the top 10, as being one of the most phenomenal bassist, guitarist, and percussionist ever to play...if not the top 5!
Thanks Bill Cree for reminding me of seeing rush at the Picadilly Tube in Toronto many many moons ago. The LSD trip I was on certainly enhanced the experience. ✌
Rush has Cleveland to thank for the start of their success. A rock station back in 1974 played Working Man and listeners kept calling in asking about the band. Some thought it was Led Zeppelin.

Philosophers and ploughmen
They can’t resist her call
They cannot choose
Not to decide
So they've got no choice at all
They've gotta love her
No she doesn’t say "Pert"
And she doesn’t say "Part"
Yeah, she knows it’s "Neil Peert"
‘Cause he’s close to her heart
Say a prayer for John Rutsey

They can’t resist her call
They cannot choose

So they've got no choice at all

Why don’t girls ever listen to Rush?

Caught this tour in Charlotte, NC. Was epic... of course. Introduced my daughters to Rush there.
Geddy, Alex, and Neil are definitely in the top 10, as being one of the most phenomenal bassist, guitarist, and percussionist ever to play...if not the top 5!
Only Guitarist I know that can rise up above this talented rhythm section!!! III G.O.A.T’s 🐐
What a RUSH!! Yeah - to a great great band, so talented ♥️🎶
I’m 52 and it’s hard to take not ever seeing them again......R.I.P. Mr. Peart
Thanks for all the smiles Jamel! Even if you don't do a reaction to this make sure you watch it! RUSH Inducted into Rock & Roll Hall of Fame... @
Rush being my all time ever favorite band, and being from Ohio, this one gets two big thumbs up from me!
