Hey bud… thanks for that… I’m replacing the crankcase gasket on an old Tecumseh… watching you do this was a help because the coupler must come off

I got a 20+ year old craftsman 20 ton log splitter passed down to me. I just bought a new predator 212 cc engine to replace the old Briggs and scrap iron engine.
I just went and got a little two jaw gear puller, i’m taking the old coupler off the old engine-to keep for spare parts. You can refurbish an old log splitter for a small fraction of the cost of buying a new one.

Cool! This old log splitter really needs a new engine, too. I've also been considering a Predator. That'll probably end up on a future video.

I also am considering a predator to replace the worn out motor on it. Crank just doesn't want to turn the pump shaft anymore.

I hope it works out for you, too. I'm watching for a good HF coupon to make the swap.
