I agree on having lots of chickens and ordering every year 😊😊😊
Good luck 👍
Think I'm dealing with the same issue on a Champion log splitter. Was useful to see this troubleshooting process. Thanks for sharing!
you did a good job searching out the problem but have to say it was painful to watch you wrestle with that snap ring, less pounding is more too if you know what I mean. Obviously you are in a learning curve but as such all of us are reminded to do no damage of our own, just complicates the matter.
A less honest youtuber would cut that out of the video, but I want people to know that it doesn't always go well in the shop. Thanks for comment!
Use compressed air on the rod end piston bolt hole. Be careful on how much pressure you apply as it could come apart with force.
Great idea! I don't like the idea of banging on it with a slide hammer.
Just replace the cylinder. Surplus Center can help.
Not very often it’s the spool valve
Most of the time it’s the piston seals if it’s a two way
Best to remove value to install seal properly 😊, just saying
at the end where you have the plunger and your considering a slide hammer, what if you re-threaded the rod into it and pulled it out with ur truck like u talked about earlier?
What about using a flywheel puller
I've seen 2 tack welds on that bolt to keep it from coming out.
It’s what we do all the time 😊
Without watching the video I bet I can guess. The nut came off the rod and the piston is detached.
Yep. It’s so common for people not to tighten them enough and probably use no red lock tight
really isnt that hard to believe.
Never seen anybody pound on the cylinder like that
Insert joke here. Thanks for watching!
Bearing puller
MR. MIKE. HOW THE HECK YOU DOING?
Hey! I’m good! How are you?
@MikesGarageShop doing good left request and bought a gas station and sporting goods store. Needed to get away from Mike and Kenny, lol!!
🤣
This is painful to watch. Some people shouldn't be allowed to own tools.
Great thing about RUclips. Great place to learn!
You're right. He should have used a hammer and two finishing nails.
@@MikesGarageShop you doin ur best with what u have
@@JimmyOToole-bu5qk Potatoes are gonna potate
@@MikesGarageShop I didn't think you beat it those snap rings are tough there in the dirt outside painted rusted and tight . Some people shouldn't have tools I'd off some people don't have the right tools . I've seen some must be my problem with these I see why . The sleeve it threaded onto the piston and has seals to is how a sleeve should be attached not a crappy bolt . Use lock tite. .
