Cheap scanner doesn’t have the software to read the system. Something about “Chinese automotive scanner” and “American 4 wheeler” just don’t add up.

Wow clueless Hardware does not in anyway = solftware or compatiblility Knuckleheads.. It needs to be an OBD system with OBD software for any OBD reader to work on it Why would they have a system installed with OBD or OBD 2 which is what he's thinking Absolutely ridiculous It's like plugging into my microwave and thinking it'll have the system I want it to have pre installed in a computer that's not even meant for it

It reads codes and data from the k line. You need a better scan tool. Or a j2434 device and a free app you can find on the internet

Thank you for this video. I'm 64 and agree, it's broke I can't do anything with it, might as well take it apart. My husband passed away several years ago and thinking I didn't need the multitude of tools he had I gave them away. I've been in the process of taking mine apart but need a new different tool every time I get going lol
