This was great, extremely comprehensive and you're super professional! For some reason, I never even realized the mental struggle Kevin was going through in regards to having things disappear. I just thought "ah well its just weird" but now I can see him possibly having some mental problems (S2 will tell, just started). Thanks a lot Chris! :)

Man, this show sounds awesome! I've had season one for months now, and I've only watched the first half-hour or so. And once again, your review hasn't spoiled anything for me. I'm actually more interested in watching the series now. Thanks for the re-cap.
It certainly takes its time and is never as *externally* propulsive as a show like _Breaking Bad_... but the characters are _so_ compelling and the psychology endlessly fascinating! Definitely worth a watch!

Appreciated the recap. This is the 3rd time Ive tried to watch The Leftovers - never made it more than a couple of episodes in before but this time I powered through to the end of Season 1. I like a lot of the actors, but I found the writing a bit too esoteric and emotionally manipulative. Reminds me of The OA - which I watched to the end of season 1 only to be disappointed with the direction it went. And of course it reminds me of those middle seasons of Lost that just went off the rails. I wanted to watch a recap to see if I had missed something and I didn't.
At 2:31 in this video, when Jill and the twins are outside the party, there is a couple sitting on their poech across the street. Wearing black robes and hoods. N one ever refers to them. What was up there?

season 1 really gave me hard times....comprehanding the whole scenario....im still comfused
i still can't help but feel like the " no explanation " is bullshit, almost clickbaiting the audience into thinking we will get some sort of explantion, however the show is brilliantly directed, written and acted so definitely worth a watch !

Excellent news. Ive just binge watched the 1st series and needed help with piecing it all together. This video was perfect. Am about to do the same with the second series but didn't want to go looking for something that may not meet my needs or be as good and thorough.

worst show i watched in my life, just here to complete the story anyhow, watching this was a torture, i hoped it to get better but i lost it after episode 9, just a crap show overrated af
Show was long-winded....
Gee, no one knows where everyone went. What cheap way to get right to the boring dribble of the day to day life of those fictional town folk. This story is just bits and pieces of every movie or series like this in the past. Yawn...next!

Oh my Gosh. So many mistakes. I had to end watching this, after he said "and jill returns back baby jesus" WTF? She did not return it, the twinss brought it back, after Kevin threathens them. Also you forgot to mention, that Wayne also gave a bunch of moeny to him and much much more. So many small, but disicive mistakes makes this whole video just bad.
