Ericka is a DOCTOR! Thank you very much.....
Chris thank you so much for doing season 1 & 2 recaps they're so insightful. Keep up the great work
You are most welcome! Really glad that you've enjoyed them!
In conclusion : you know it's going to be a good show if the pixie's "where is my mind" starts playing
This is so helpful, too busy to rewatch the entire first two seasons again but before this vid almost didn't want to watch s3 premiere bc I didn't feel qualified ahaha, thanks man
Well, you are now _qualified_! :D
I realize that this was written years ago but this detail drives me absolutely nuts. Erika is a DOCTOR, not a nurse. If she was a man, no one would mistake her for a nurse. (I'm a male nurse, so I know what I'm talking about)! 😂
Fantastic recap, wow, very well done. Been a while since I last watched season 2.
Season 3 here I come!
Calling from Down Under & not metaphorically. Just slotted S3 into the DVD & realise it's been a year; searched for an intelligent recap of Season 2 & found yours. I'll echo those below. This is *truly* the best recap of this series and the best recap of *any* show I've seen. A complicated, poetic story of faux biblical proportions & a show which reaches deep into our mindsets and gut behavioural reactions. You really nailed the creative beats. Thank you so much !!
SO glad it's bakc and it's amazing we have shows like this, Fargo, Better Call Saul and THe Americans airing same time
Thanks Chris for this! Needed a reminder :D
That's what I'm here for :)
Thats how the GR recruits...
Meg doesnt go on a pilgrimage after her mother dies. Its 3? years later. Her mother died the day before the Departure.
Crikey it took me several years to find you so I could subscribe! Finally. ❤❤
Well, I'm glad you're finally here! Welcome and make yourself at home :D
Patti was super helpful. She only gave him good advice that he needed. I'd have kept her around
Thank you Chris! Great insight on such a complicated masterpiece
_Complicated masterpiece_... what an excellent description!
I feel the idea that the Palm Reader in fact was magic (he couldn't have known about the walnuts in Meg's mom's salad otherwise) was glossed over. Magic still isn't a banality in this world, so I don't understand the point of making the Palm Reader unambiguously able to have magic knowledge.
"And then Kevin becomes an international television"
Fantastic recap. You helped me understand a number of things I wasn't sure I truly grasped before. Brilliant. subscribing now. Thanks.
Thanks for the recaps. I missed episodes here and there you filled them in. I think i am done with this show... it is starting to smell like lost. Too many tangents that only spin the story nore out control. Add to that slow pace of some episodes.
This is exactly what I was waiting for. Thank you Chris!
Thinking back to Episode 8 still astounds me. I love it when directors can simply explore their creative sides,
Well done brother! Plot was outlined in a linear, thoroughly detailed, yet concise manner. Character motivations explained perfectly in accordance with theme narratives.
Forced to take an abrupt two year hiatus from being able to watch the show, your recap provided a sturdy bridge to resume at the third season with the same degree of anticipation I had just after finishing binge watching seasons 1 and 2. Thanks for the effort!
Btw love how much of David Lynch’s influence is seen throughout the series; clearly no coincidence seeing as Justin Theroux leads the cast!
You are most welcome! _ENJOY_ the final season!!
You said Erica is a nurse, she is a Dr. Minor detail, I know.
Justin Theroux is extremely good looking, it's insane. Unreal.
Just started watching this thank you for the recaps. It helps me stop and sort out the what did I just watch feelings.
Have you been watching the third season of better call Saul?
Of course! So good!
Wow...Excellent review Chris! Thank you for catching me up! Now I can binge watch season 3.
"mortally wounded" doesn't mean what you think it means
Hey man, thanks for making this. This is exactly the kind of video I was looking for. Ready for season 3!
Great review and explanation. It had been so long since season 2 that I had forgotten a lot of things that you reminded me of. This is such a great and unique show that I'm sad it will be over soon. But thank you for posting this 😊
Great recap, thanks
Please just put your hands down though
Thank you so much, Do you get any sleep between the time the show ends on Sunday and uploading your video Tuesday?
Bahaha! A couple hours ;)
great summary and presentation. well done, and thanks. never realised how dominant the teal and gold palette is in this season.
Thanks so much for the recap! Really needed it before jumping to season 3! :)
Dude, fantastic recap. Thanks!
Where are those better call saul videos at???
Too many good shows, too little time 😞
So helpful! thank you
THIS IS THE BEST ELABORATE RECAP EVER DONE! THANKS A TON CHRIS!!
So glad that it worked for you!! Cheers!
Will you watch Maniac? Iill bet youd like it if you're into the leftovers
Now _that_ is a recommendation! Certainly intrigued.
Patrick Somerville wrote it. He wrote some episodes of The Leftovers, if you watch it you can definitely see some similarities. If you like it can you please make a vid of it? I would love to hear your take on it!
Love it! Will do. Thank you for recommending!
This was brilliantly explained, thank you. I love this show so much, but don't have the time to rewatch the whole second season. Will get stuck into the 3rd now!
Thank you so much. Was starting season 3 and forgot what happened in season 2 so tihs has been very helpful.
Perfection. This is exactly what I needed. Definitely subbing!
Thank you so much for the recap. I just realized season three came out 2 months. Thx a ton1
Just like the season 1 video this recap was astonishingly insightful and very well done.
Well done! Thanks that was just what I needed and then some.
Glad people are still enjoying this!
Thanks for making this man! Got me back up to speed on some details that I had forgotten.
good job man. definitely wish you the best for everything
What an absolutely fantastic recap video! Thank you!
Thanks !
Why did Virgil want to kill Kevin? He promised Kevin that his death will only be temporary, but after Kevin took the drink he discarded the syringe that was supposed to revive Kevin later and then shot himself.
You didn't finish the episode
Thank you great work! It helped a lot.
This was really good video thank you.
Outstanding job, thanks so much.
Such a brilliant season of television
Well done. Thank you for doing this.
awesome!!!
huzzah!
Nice one Chris
Glad it worked for ya!
And now onto the single episode reviews for season 3. I'll be looking forward to them as much as I do the first coffee of the day. (Extremely).
Thanks !!!!
Thx for the great recap!
Well done Chris
Thanks!
awesome, thanks for this! Ready for season 3 :)))
So glad that it helped! Enjoy the final season... it's CRAZY!
This was so good.
Nice one fella!
Great recap!
Hi first
thanks!
Reperate? Do you mean repair?
Reparation.
*GREAT* recap Chris. The way you bind the whole season is a great way to refresh the memories. Can't wait for the second episode of season 3, and your review.
Though they're an exorbitant amount of work, doing recaps for a show I love so much, really _is_ a lot of fun!
So...Game of Thrones next!? :p
Gosh, I don't know! I really do like _GoT_, but didn't find that my reviews got all that great of a response last year.
Well, I was kidding, in a sense that since they take up so much time, doing a recap for SIX seasons of GOT would be annoying. :p
But your channel has gotten bigger than what it was last year during GOT's time, so you'll definitely get a better response now, especially considering the hype surrounding season 7. I dunno, maybe do a recap of a single season and see how it goes. If it gets a good response, do more. :)
An excellent and insightful suggestion! I'll definitely ponder it now!
I watched season 1 , I enjoyed wasn't blown away but enjoyed. I came on here to see if someone can convince me season 2 is worth watching ?
I really _do_ think it's worth it... it both expands and focuses what the first season dealt with... and does so with a slightly lighter tone.
I watched all of seasons 1 and 2 about a year and a half ago in only 4 days so I forgot a lot of what happened and kept hesitating to start season 3. Thanks for the in depth recap, now I can start season 3
Nora leaving Kevin made zero sense whatsoever. Very very poor writing.
I agree.
Not at all. She’s imperfect & scared for Lily -the fact he could threaten the child. She’s lost 3 people and knows 3 girls have disappeared. Kevin isn’t a balanced person either.
