I’m a 65 year male. This is the first time listening to him and I really like his material, just listened to 4 of his other tracks, this is my favourite. He’s very talented. His songs are a bit different to a lot of the stuff around. I think he’s going to be big.

after following Sam for more than year straight and not missing a single release i can say: this dude is not capable of writing an average song, let alone a bad one. It‘s hit after hit. I predict him to play UK stadiums in 3 years and global stadiums in 5 if his output and sincere passion for music continues this way. what a time to be alive

I stumbled across his music by accident a few weeks ago when I was waiting to hear Hippo Campus perform live on BBC. Play God was played just before their set and I’ve never been so immediately impressed with an artist. I’m seriously obsessed with him now. What a brilliant guy.

Once bands sell out they are far to controlled by corporate interests and record companies to add meaningful lyrica.. every notice how pop music is a whole bunch of nothingness? Indie music is where it's at if you want songs with deeper meanings.

I don’t how to say this but I just had the worst panic attack of my life & this helped get my shit together and calm down so much. Sam I know (not like he is going to read this) that you write your songs for yourself, which everyone should do, but for kids like me they mean so much. I can’t thank you enough & I know that you’re going places. Also a special thank you to my dog.

saw him live a week ago in Brixton. Great voice and songwriting, really solid band playing with him. His stage presence is still a bit green and the pace of his show is still a bit inconsistent but the studio versions of his songs are of rare beauty and depth, both on the lyrical and the sound engeneering side. Well done Sam, extremely talented artist with enormous undiscovered potential!
I wouldnt say his stage presence is "Green" by any sense of the imagination, he really feels his music you can see that by how focused he is on his performance, but I agree with the rest of what you say!
I don’t think he’s green, he’s just not egotistical like most artists these days. I’ve seen him perform on 4 separate occasions over the last year and each time he’s just as humble. Makes him even more endearing in my opinion. We can all agree he’s just absolutely class! :-)

super super tight!!! they were playing this song, often, on the radio here in Rome. i became a fan from the first time i heard it. the addition of the sax reminded me of Psychedelic Furs... the entire album is great.
