Absolutely! Especially tonight. I finally got the key back from my ex of 14 years. A toxic and emotionally abusive relationship with someone I still love but have to walk away from otherwise I risk self-destruction. Listening to this song right now as I type. Emotional. Difficult times. This song gives me the hug I need.
pretty sure she's just singing, the way her classical voice tutor told her to. With some echoey effects subtly mixed in by the sound engineer. Deeeeep, man...
I can't believe that in 2024 I've only just discovered London Grammar!! There's a certain kind of beauty to it that is so touching I nearly want to cry with joy
Hannah's talent and the band are amazing. Her vocal range is neigh on inhuman yet executed with such warmth, empathy yet ruthless precision and measured delivery. Always a massive pleasure to listen to. Especially he earliest performances, so raw and beautiful!
Her Octave range allows her to totally transfix the room... she can change and range phenomenally, a modern day siren.. and she draws me to the rocks every time...
I’ve been listening to London Grammar for a while, but seeing them live is astounding. Her voice is like an angels would be. I can bring myself to another place when listening to them. A place of total peace. In 2021 and living through a pandemic, London Grammar help to keep me free from anxiety. They are on another level.
London Grammar was a suggestion as a Bass reference for my selfmade speakers. It's crystal clear that not the Bass keeps me listening to the Band. This Intro touches the bottom of my soul and I never felt like this from music before. Stay health!
They are the kind of band that can disappear and return 10 years later with hit albums. Yes timeless elegant talent…..I hope they continue to give us the odd album here and there forever. A unique sound, brilliant song writing and brilliant musicians. 👏👏😍😍👍💯

@@mathushahs2724 Not London Grammar style but you may like the band 'All them witches' check out their epic 'Rats in Ruin' and stick through it all the way my fav. song of the last 2 years. Also again a slightly different style but check out 'Future Islands' some great songs 'For Sure' :) . Also the Greek band 'Tango with Lions' including their songs 'A long walk' 'Obituary' 'In a bar'. American band 'Manchester Orchestra' their songs 'The silence' and 'I know how to speak' amongst others. The band 'The war on drugs' songs ' Thinking of a place' and 'Under the pressure'. Still listening to this extraordinary performance on Christmas day 2022. I cannot expres how many feelings this particular version brings me. Goosebumps every time she opens her mouth. She truly is out of this world. Perfectly complemented by the 2 musicians. in 1 word.. unbelievable!
I’m in so much pain physically and when I listen to this over and over I am transported to a spiritual plane and forget the pain. Love to all who really understands the power of her voice.
Her voice is so freakin' good, she can literally spend the first 3 minutes of a song singing the word "hey" in different ways and it still makes for an amazing song.
Must have listened to the first 3mins intro a thousand time or more, pure brilliance. The whole set is wonderful, but i often have the intro on loop while I sit back, close my eyes and forget about lifes worries.
I was going to use the laptop just for a second and I end up here, I love this band so freaking much! and I understand not everyone likes this kind of music but I think they deserve more recognition than they have.
She does nothing but stand there, look pretty and then sing the word Hey over and over for 2+ minutes, and it STILL works. That is one impressive voice.
There's something about Hannahs energy, so innocent seeming, timid and yet so commanding. And that voice and range, dayum! Amazing woman and backed by great musicians

London Grammer - this song uses MY soul's voice to speak to ME. I don't know how long London Grammer has been around. They are fantastic! Will take the time to listen to more from them.
I feel like I'm missing out on something when I hear her sing...like...the same way I know there's some far away place that I would much rather be; instead of where I am, but will probably never even visit...but will always have the desire to do so.
I saw them at the Hammersmith Apollo, it was the most haunting, evocative and incredible performance. The whole audience was captured for the full gig like nothing I have ever experienced before or since.

This is a proof of why live music is so special.
God knows when we will see live music again with this virus going about!
Best live for me...
live music from people great musicians and vocalists who can actually sing
So necessary and so very missed, it's very special to witness something like this and it's been a while since we had the opportunity.
