I started this animation right after i finished "The accident". But I got burn out and just spent my whole December hanging out with friends and play games :'D This was suppose to be a stress-relief but I keep overdoing everything x'D
This animation is mostly experimental and random stuff (like test tweening, montions graphics, backgrounds,...) and I just want to use an old OC design of mine with a little revamped. This has no story involved, just pure doing-whatever-I-feel-like-to.
Despite mostly filler but like how this turning out! Sometimes wing it is the best form of art xD

The backgrounding the animation the radiance is perfect like the time in this just couldn't its insane how you came up with these epic designs and backgrounds and storyboarding and the animation is very original loving the vid :DDDD

Since this was only experimental, and had no backstory i guess i'll try to make up something-
I don't know how to start a story but i'll just depict what i saw in the beautiful animation
So Riko was running along a plain grass field and in that grass field he saw a lake filled with lotus
The smell attracted him and soothed his stress.
So he made an idea that he would come there every once in a while to relieve his stress
But one day, he realize that it was going to be winter soon and the lotus would wither away
And as he suspected, when he came back in the winter, most of the lotus were withered away.
But there was one lotus that wasn't withered, it was glowing. Its scent was much stronger than any lotus that Riko has smelled, but it wasn't enough to relieve his stress. He wanted to stay there and smell it for a bit longer. The scent was attracting him even more to the point that it makes him want to eat it. He then thought that the lotus would wither if it just sat there. And so he took it with him. But just as he was about to go home, he saw a pink dragon. The pink dragon looked like the lotus he was holding and it even smells like it. Riko didn't know what to do and just ran away from it. But when he looked back, the pink dragon disappeared. And so, he spend the winter with the lotus. But when spring came, when Riko was about to smell the lotus again, it wasm't there. He thought that maybe it got blown away out of the window. He ran outside in the grass field and saw the pink dragon. The dragon glares at Riko. Riko was once again attracted, but this time, it looked like he was being controlled by the pink dragon. Riko tried to touch it, but as he touch it, he became something unimaginable. A beast with red eyes. He was cursed by the dragon
He became a lotus eater

Did you know, this song is based off greek mythology, there is a myth about the hero odysseus, where his ship gets windblown to an island where there are lotuses which, when eaten, make you forget about your whole life and all your problems and your family and your mission, so lots of his ship people got stuck there, so the "lotus eater" thing i think is supposed to symbolize doing something bad to yourself to escape your problems

Wow, this is got to be my personal favorite so far, not only has your animating improved but your editing is on point. Everything clicks really well and you matched the tempo perfectly, the tweening and different styles that take place in the video are phenomenal and the attention to detail is absolutely stunning. I think i speak for many people when i say the way you animate and edit is inspiring and frankly just shows dedication that motivates myself aswell. Keep up the crazy cool stuff!

I’m going level here I just found out about you though the Epoch meme and I’m watching more of you’re work and this animation and voice acting is really good. I hope you best of luck 🍀on you’re animation career and don’t be pressure into doing current stuff I’ve seen a lot of RUclips animators just go on a highatose and not see them in months almost a year or 2 and never seen them sense so if you need a break then take one I just hope you don’t get overwhelmed with your school or home life.
