That's great Ajinkya. Only one guidance for you - see how you can leverage your experience of 2 years in QA to whatever you do as a DevOps Engineer. Do not let that go waste. Did you know of a stream called DevOps QA - you'd be a perfect fit for that!
wow, that is some compliment!!! To be honest, my editor was like - ye 30min + ka video hai - isko chota karo. Aaj kal ki Tine bade videos natin dekhta! I had another look at the video and was like - I think there's value throughout the video. Let's put it out there and see what happens. Thank's for the validation - means a lot.
Hi savinder sir , I am currently working in an IT company (2024 CSE Passout) , in generative AI, but the exposure is very poor, there are almost zero projects available, so would it be advisable as per your to switch to devops role, ?
@@savinderpuri your journey and relevance to my journey in DevOps I also started with clearcase rtc and clearquest and your enthusiasm to change accordingly to the changing tech stack and the motivation which we need to adapt...
Your video is so informative and because of you I am confident about devops, recently I got a offer as AIOps trainee, although salary is very less, what you think, should I join and what will be the future of AiOps?
I'd dig deep on what's the actual job you're expected to do as an AIOps trainee - I've seen companies just rename Ops roles. The future of AiOps is obviously bright - just depends if your organisation is doing it right. Don't be lured with just the tag - dig deeper, ask questions.
Hi sir, I am working as Python automation, I am more interested how system is working, DevOps fascinates me, I like to understand how programs are running in different stages so I started learning devops. I am also posting my learning in Linkedin. My question is should I fake my resume with devops work experience or should I keep it as true. I am worried about not short listing. I have been applying but not getting any calls
I'm never a proponent of faking in the resume - it comes out sooner than later. And that's never good. I'd recommend accelerating your learning, creating some projects and listing them in the resume. I understand it's hard work, but needs to be done only one. And it's totally worth it!
If AI ever replaces devops and cloud so is AIops or MLops a future proof career?? I am a student and i want to get in cloud and devops but thinking AI will replace us makes me sad and unmotivated. The video was helpful thanks
Hi, I am DevOps Enginner. I have one question as considering future we need to focus on XOps like MLOps, and DataOps. or keep going with DevOps only. because DevOps and MLOps are very different means pipelines structure and deployment structure are changed. So, I am confuse should I learned MLOps and switch to Data Domain or keep going into DevOps or DevSecOps domain where SDLC going on. If possible make video for this. Thanks.
Short answer - keep your focus on DevOps. There is DevOps for ML also - I'm sure your organisation will be doing something in that direction - volunteer to setup DevOps for that. I'll make a dedicated video on this - it's a good idea
@savinderpuri is right focus on DevOps. With enough experience if you have tech mindset you will start seeing the other ops as just expansions around Ops practices. You start seeing things in big blocks as you have fundamental understanding of what those blocks do, so based on situation you will be able to modify them to your needs.
You can very well chase the fun of coding and logic building being a DevOps Engineer - there're enough architecture/coding challenges in creating complex pipelines, infra, scaling etc. Like they say - everyone is a coder now.
I'm not sure I understand the question.... AI or LLM's in specific produce better outputs with more data (or training). And there's no shortage of training data in today's world, if you know how to position yourself. We're ALL training ChatGPT every single day! Different story for an Enterprise though.
I have recently joined a cloud and devops program.. worked as qa for 2 years.. looking forward to ride the wave of ai as a devops engineer

Been always a SDE role chaser and recently cracked an open position but been handling Devops don’t know how to chase fun of coding and logic building.
What was your role exactly, can you tell?
You can very well chase the fun of coding and logic building being a DevOps Engineer - there're enough architecture/coding challenges in creating complex pipelines, infra, scaling etc. Like they say - everyone is a coder now.
How data shortage in AI will efect??
