You mentioned about candidates refusing to go 1:1 or F2F in the last round or any of the rounds because it is 1 hour of drive , Paaji I would say about 80% of candidates would actually agree for that 1:1 had they seen success rate in that F2F , rather some make it as a round with HRs particularly for senior management levels to reject candidates when they can’t pay , what’s the point of the candidate wasting 1 hour of drive + 1 hour of preparation to reach the office . Even that round can happen online and the meeting can happen after the candidate is onboarded .. I don’t see any urgent requirement of going F2F when you have done critical rounds through online ..
I'm not generalising here - just sharing what I've experienced in the last couple of weeks. The last round was sometimes with a the Client (final round) and sometimes with the unit head (Sr. Exec.) who wanted to have a chat f:f and check who's being hired. Even after explaining this, the candidates flatly refused to travel. Only reason being - it's too far! Happened with 4 folks in the last 4-5 weeks. Same answer. That's concerning.
Really good stuff Guruji. Telling the real expectations, mistakes of interview and greenery on other side were really helpful. Sorry, I was really busy with some learning stuff now a days.
I have a kind of remote job ,I agree with all the points just wanted to add yea sure isolation is their but someone from outside wouldn't understand that and when it hits u its hits Hard ,love 💕 u sir for work u are putting in building this community
What a great content sardardji, i have been in this industry for last 6-7 years and have seen lot of changes over time. it's glad to hear reality from you, as it will be helpful for other people as well, other bhaiya didi are busy selling their online courses to get students CR package jobs. Your content speaks truly ground reality and no BS.
AWESOME! I learnt a bunch of things from this video. 1. Multi Skill adoption is going to be my prime focus going forward. I have aws experience, next build on Azure with personal hands projects. 2. Same goes with scripting have python experience gonna focus on golang. 3. Try targetting a startup, FAANG company before even thinking about a remote job, taking it one step at a time. 4. Savinder Ji also was able to see how your video making/editing skills have greatly evolved as i keep juggling between you old and new videos. Thanks again i just love your videos

I am working as a remote consultant to an UK based company and I get paid in GBP as a contractor. No GST is required if you have no India sales or need not claim input credit. CA will take care of advance tax and expenses. Good thing is you can claim a lot of deductions than employees. Bad news is coordination across time zones is a headache
@@abhi1673 my tax rate is near 40% with surcharge etc but net rate is lesser as I can claim hardware and office expenses. More saving can be done with foreign currency but compliance is higher compared to salary in INR. You need to have your CA in speed dial
This gave me a lot of clarity on remote jobs, Thanks sirji. Regarding the taxation point that you mentioned, is it mandatory to get help from a CA if we happen to land a remote job?
That's very true paaji, I only know one person who work remotely.. 🙃 Also i have some basic cloud certs. not that high cost aws or cka certs, as i know that my knowledge and grip on skill matter the most, also the projects are game changer, but as i am fresher i don't get that much opportunity, they all asked for certs. That make me feel down... But after watching your video i get some hope again, Thank you 🙏
I feel that getting job in industry is easy just work and be consistency and people really struggle with that than 🎉 youtube bhaiya and didi come in play scared student and sell courses 😮😮😮
Radhe Radhe Satvinder Sir Ji 🙏 Awesome Video Sir Ji a, Sir im also looking forward to get one to one Mentorship from you....❤ I'm from Andaman and Nicobar Islands, and doing BCA ....due to less exposure in our island your guidance will means a lot for me.... Hare Krishna❤

yaay yaay!!! Of course i'm trying to game the algo! Even if I create the best videos I can and no one watches them, what's the point? You gotta be in the system to beat the system.
Hello sir , I am very impressed by your thoughts. I had just one request from you. Can you share your resume in your compatible way as i am very keen to know what exactly the things you put down there. Please reply sir I am awaiting for your response

There are several others making good courses, let them do it. I'm here to give you the right thought process and share my experiences from 20+ years in the field. Which no one else can!
I have been following you for sometime now. But these days, specially after your job switch, I think your videos are biased towards service industry, some way or the other. Like, how you have bashed remote jobs in this video one sided. Not expected.
hmm... good observation on the swing towards service industry. I did not notice it consciously. I've not bashed remote jobs - i've shown the other side that no one wants to talk about. It's always 1cr/5cr for remote jobs. But people need to know it's downsides as well, just like any other job. It's not all a bed of roses, as shown by others.

If you have to choose to do one, do Project work. But do solid Projects, not just for the sake of doing them.
Ideally, do both!
