Hi SIr, I'm Manutal tester with 10 year of experience and have good level (not expert) of automation experience in automation testing like API, Playwright & JMeter,, is it wise to make a career change into Devops, is it good and should I stick to testing and find role in Manager rol or subject matter expert, I can spend 2 years for this with 3 hours per day. I'm not expert on coding & other technical stuff, I mentioned good level because with internet I could complete any task in automation give to me,
1. Why DevOps? More money (presumably)? 2. Do you enjoy automation development? 3. Why not explore more testing tools, especially with AI? When making a pivot, you do not plan for 2 years. You plan for 3 months and see if you can keep that commitment. If not, you know!
