White evos just straight hold it down. Hands down best color for them. That mph is pretty solid for 650whp. When I get some beadlocks I’m definitely gonna get that type of ring.
That's more like 750whp on a normal dyno. It should be trapping in the upper 140's for a 3150lbs car. Those mustang dyno's are stingy. I put down 1288whp on one with my GTR and at a vehical weight of 3400lbs I was in the 2.7 60-130 on the street. 7.7@180 on a prepped track with 15" slicks on the back.
I built my sons evo 8 engine which now produces a snip over 600 on 98 octane, the block - rods, pistons and valve train will easily take 1000hp but he's happy with as it is, I love those 4g63's :)
Such a badass Evo! Love to see powerful Evos that are also solid and reliable for daily duties. I hate that I'm one of the unlucky owners that got screwed out of my first build which had to immediately go back into the shop for pretty much a second build. I can't wait for the day where I can have a solidly built Evo I can drive spiritedly on the streets and not have to worry about anything major going wrong, lol.
An example of a nice, well sorted Evo. All dynometers can be manipulated and setup to read higher, through certain ways depending on their hardware and software in use. The variation between a DJ and an MD i.e, could be from 10% to 16%. A well calibrated and setup Dynojet in comparison to a properly calibrated Mustang dynometer, will read 9% -10% higher, for instance AMS states that their DJ reads 8% higher than their MD dyno.
Evo 4g63s are bulletproof like other top JDM engines, but the transmission, tcase, differentials, even body built like rusts (maybe mitsu cut cost there) are more of the weak point. Reference Evo 7 now 9 driver here. 😊 But bottom line, Evo 7-9 still better than X, Evo any gen better than Wrx Sti any gen, and we hope Nissan, since they control mitsu now, decides to build another Evo soon. 😄
You do realize every pre-generation to the Evo X had 20 years to run a 7 second pass, but hasnt. The Evo X has barely been out 10 years and english racing had to build R&D the ENTIRE platform that had zero base ground and is already running low 8's at 1200 HP, with an unfilled block, aluminum at that, with a basic ass setup and he's still top 5 for fastest evo in the world? The same Evo 7-9 running those times are atleast 1400-1800 hp, weight less and STILL can barely edge out on top. So what does that tell you about the platform? You watch ER Evo X go down the track it is straight as an arrow, no wheel hop, smooth. A low 8 second evo 8 is flying all over the track bogging launches and dismantling itself. Buschur himself said he prefers the 4b11. Lucas english himself said he prefers the 4b11. They make more power with the same exact mods, and run faster times with less horsepower because it is a better designed and balanced chassis.

This thing pulls man in that case let’s hook my Diesel up to it
Bad ass evo
The only people saying evo's are unreliable are Subaru fanboys.
I'm just wondering if it's normal to put your car in neutral after making hits? I was taught to not put it into neutral when going fast because you might mess up your transmission when you want to put it in gear again, this was a long time ago so maybe the cars can handle it now.
Gotta rev match from neutral
Fully synchronized transmissions dont need rev match so you can do it.
"Good old white evo" - commenter from an NFS payback vid
is the evo and the lancer evo the same thing?
The 2 cars share 0 parts. Lol
What are the wheels and tires specs ?
Simple and badass
Evo>GTR
Wonder what his fuel set up is? What pumps and injectors?
It's a buschur double pump and ID2000's
Better than Stis
🚗💥💨
4g63 still beasting
What size turbo is on that Evo? I heard him say fp zero but how big is that compared to like an fp red for example?
It's a 62mm but a pretty small back housing. It's the biggest one for that class.
@@BURNALL_4 thanks brotha
quick street car
I love this car but are aftermarket cams, valve springs, retainers, and a ported throttle body really considered a "stock head" ? "1:34"
I mean that it's not ported.
What's up with the wiggling of the shifter after each pull?
traskalle just making sure it's in neutral I would assume. Force of habit for most.
Old school.
Why such a big difference in hp from a mustang dyno to dyno jet?
It's just the way they read. It's about 15-17% difference.
Runin 9's and no cage not a good idea
No cage = death
Cage = life
Ok. I'll explain this one more time. The car only goes to the track for this event. It's a street car. If I get into an accident on the street with a cage and bang my head on it.... Cage = death. Soooo.... Ya... No cage
@@BURNALL_4 you then have not been in a high speed accident... And you are not wearing you seat belt obviously I've been in high speed accidents I've been in low-speed accidents with a cage in it I've never hit that cage I've been upside down more times and I really want to fucking count with the cage and I haven't hit my head on that cage you obviously aren't wearing your fucking seatbelt in that case you are going to hit your fucking head on the cage you're fucking moron
@@goofyman8686 hey dick. The rolling shots where I'm not wearing my seatbelt... Ya we're in the parking lot of the event, going 5-10mph. So before you open your big stupid mouth... Have an idea WTF you're talking about.
@@BURNALL_4 your funny strap in every time... No excuses... I build race cars i drive a truck that runs over rice grinders... So i think i know what im talkin about...
@@goofyman8686 you're so smart. If you drive a truck. And build race cars too?! Oh damn! I guess I'll have to put my seatbelt on in parking lots and my garage. Guess what... I drive a truck too and build my own racecars.
How much hp evo have.
Damn right #BurnAll4 🔥
