Yes 9 GT one of the best, I owned a Evo 6 RSX back in the day, only 25 ever made(10 silver, 15 white) had Evo 6 RS running gear, but GSR comforts with electric windows and climate control etc was made by Xtreme Ralliart in the UK, would love to see one pop up on Dream car giveaways.
I own an 03 GSR for the North American market. We never received the GT however you have a compelling presentation. I’d definitely love to sample the GT and see how it feels. Awesome video!
You may like these 4 facts about the EVO IX: - 1 year production (2006). - 8201 units were made world wide. - The USDM versions don't have the legendary Active Yaw Control (AYC which is an active differential, that made the evo win does rally races ), JDM version does have it. -There is a Wagon version of the Evo IX, which makes it the rarest Evo. (2500 from the 8201 produced units were Evo Wagons and had different models: GT, GT-A and a MR Special Version).

You would purchase it at the Mitsubishi Motor dealership, in 2005, as a "2006 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution IX"... but Mitsubishi Motors did not make an entire marketing campaign for a 2007 Evo IX since they're stopping production. So, to the company's eyes, they had a year of production (2006), but to our eyes, it was more than a "year of production".
EVO IX GT the last and best one made mivec engine not many left in this colour the rarest is the yellow they didn't make many in that colour. Still to this day they are head turner's and stick to the roads like glue, but they are a drivers car not for the inexperienced.
none of those modifications are necessary for making 385 hp. My 2006 Evo IX hast around 400 hp and 500 Nm with just a downpipe and a (proper) tune. MIVEC Evo IX 4G63T has the most potential of all stock Evos. Just some minor modifications and you are making impressive numbers. And if you think 400 hp is not impressive, you haven't driven a properly tuned Evo IX on a backroad in third and fourth gear. 500 Nm, 100% traction, short gearing and power all the way to 7000 rpm. It's an experience.
What was the cash alternative?? Do you know?? Id take the car, even the other competitions with the porsche/lambo or £165k id take the car, my missus would get through that cash in no time, where id be grinning from ear to ear driving my dream car.

I love my 06 EVO IX, grabbed it with 3 miles on it, currently sitting at 68k, had no idea it would become a unicorn in the future. 🙏🏼

I’d like to think 500whp +/- is the sweet spot. Also some of the weight savings is attributed to not having acd or abs on this model, I believe.
They still have the acd but not the ayc. And they have abs 👍
