For your information, we use miles in the UK too, the rest of Europe uses kilometres. 👍
You can find that in Rout History. But it only works on some models not all of them support that feature. Also the GPS has to ON and on a active rout for it to add up the miles/kilometers.
Sorry sir, do you know how to make a factory reset when the device never opens the home page? (I cannot access the settings menu). Mine only stays in the screen that shows the image and model of the device on screen. Thank you.
Hi, In that case you will need to connect it with your computer and use TomTom Home to repair the firmware. It will reinstall the latest firmware without deleting your maps. To be on the safe side I recommend backing up all your Maps, and personal data in your PC before proceeding with the upgrade.

Hello, for Renault in dash Navigation Systems you have to contact your Renault dealer, because they use a completely different types of software and upgrading the maps are completely different compared to your standalone Garmin or TomTom GPS. Although Renault uses the Navicore from TomTom but the map update is not the same as the handheld tomtom. My Tom Go720 has difficulty tracking satellites. Everytime I have to press the reset button. How to remedy this issue permanently otherwise the GPS works well.
Hi, leave it ON near a window, or outside and it will eventually get satellite signal. For the first time it will take very long time, up to 30 minutes, but once it receives signal each additional time will be only a matter of seconds.
Unfortunately it does cost a lot to update it through TomTom Website. There are some other websites that offer free maps but I don't recommend it because they are unusually full of spyware and viruses.

I recommend updating the Navcore to the latest version, such as Version 9.54 or higher.

You can get it from GPS Forums they a major archive of all older GPS files.
