PACING 2 SD40-2s LEADING NS Mainline Local GZ02 through Oakland Junction 10/4/24

A surprise never to be forgotten, as i surprisingly stumbled upon what may be my favorite and definitely one of my best catches of 2024. As I'm leaving work in East Point, I noticed a northbound, all international, intermodal train going through town and caught up to the head end and my jaws dropped at the power, two NS SD40-2s. I KNEW instantly I was shooting this train. So, I overtook them to Oakland Jct.
What may be a sight not seen prob as early as the 90s can evidently be said, an all intermodal train, on the Griffin District line, was powered by all SD40-2s. Ive been working next to this line for almost 10 years and never seen this til now, especially in daylight. NS, Ex. BN, 3469 & Ex. SOU 3298 does the honors for local crew GZ02, which is moving a set of Savannah cargo that was stored south of Industry Yard due to the port strikes in Savannah and along the east coast, not to mention the effects of Hurricane Helene as well.
