Is it just me or is the s22 just not as durable as previous Samsung have been?
Definitely not broke 2 already in 2 months simple drop with Good case
Whatever you do. DO NOT BUY Samsung flip cover case. Provides no protection especially when it gets dropped.

I don't this is mine or yours bt same colour of mobile same backside 1st protector,same side cracked same centre point broken n I got today in my hand bt still need 2 be watersealed
It's the curved display the reason why it's less durable
I think the curved edges is what is making the s22 ultra "weak" most cracks happen on the edges with the s22 ultra.
So true I barely dropped mine and it cracked bad on the bottom edge. I have dropped older and cheaper phones so much harder with out them cracking.
Yep.. dropped mine yesterday and it broke from the right side edge next to the volume buttons.. completely wasted.. time for a new screen and frame I guess 🙄
This is wrong. My note 9 had curved edges and was much more resilient.
I dropped mine by accident and it hit on the curved edge on the right side and it HAD a screen protector. That broke but the screen was fine. However now it has a yellow annoying line and lcd problems now
Stupid get a tempared glass nd good case,,, not cheap 😅😅😅

Holy crap when you turned your S22 Ultra screen on it looks EXACTLY as mine does.. I've replaced lcd screens on iphones before but never had to with Samsung. Now I have a S22 Ultra and a Flip 4 (inside screen went black) and the replacement parts are almost as much as a used s22 ultra or flip 4 for the lcd. The glass isn't even cracked just the lcd digitizer went out.
I went through 3 z flips 4 in 2 months. Stupid ass phone

Wow same damages like my S21 Ultra, I manage to still use it. And the edge is the most weekest point in this phone the screen Costs like 2/3 of the phone.

Samsung repair service in Holland has no displays in stock. I've been waiting for a display for 14 days. Samsung says no warranty, so wait. Mobile is 2 months old. And if you don't want the mobile anymore, we'll take it for free. beautiful hee that samsung gang.
Just so you guys know, if you have one of the exclusive online colors of the S22 Ultra, there are no parts, and will never be any parts available to repair it. I have a graphite and I'm going through hell to get it fixed and not be forced into a black one that samsung is trying to send me

@@brimleyhillmassive yeah it will, but any insurance or warranty coverage will be null and void because Samsung only covers devices repaired with exact replacement parts.

Who cares about colours tbh... most phones are in cases and can't see the colour anyway 🙄
@@danielbriggs7110 I do when I’m paying almost $1500 for what I want and waiting 5 extra weeks for it. I also use clear cases so that I can see my phone.

that happened to my phone 2 days ago. it doesn't respond to touch but works with the pen. i was able to use with dex to retrieve my accounts and files. I've ended up buying a new one. i will try the iphone this time.

I thought mine got hot, but the screen turned green then it went to yellow/orange and never changed. I had to send it in to get fixed. I've had more problems with my ultra than ANY samsung I have ever had!
happened to my s23 ultra got some red blue and blinking pixels quote is 500 dollars :( no budget maybe next year
So I break you fix stores wanted $500 to fix my screen display and a local entrepreneur wants $350 but between this video and a slower explained one I feel like I could do this and also make it waterproof by properly replacing the adhesive.
Where to buy? Only Samsung? The magnetic tiny screwdriver and crack open tool?

Does it retain IP68 rating?
when you repair a phone it loses its water resistance; you can glue it back up to try and keep it, but it's definitely not ip68 and you can't trust it.

still I'm getting water resistant on my phone.

Weight have much to do with it especially hitting the edge where's no protection even with a cause on it goes down fast. I love the phone but it could be safer if the screen was falt so falling face down with a case on once it doesn't hit a object directly on its screen would be safe depending on how high it fell from

yeah all flat screens are lcd. the term led and oled are misleading because unless things have changed the last few years all led and oled is how they are backlit not how that generate a display.

So it is not a screen that was replaced. It was the front panel... a half phone!! That's why it is expensive!!

It’s probably 90% alcohol to deactivate the glue of the battery.
100% isopropanol
This is exactly what happened to my phone the same crack at the same spot and same results but workers are charging me 400 to fix
samsung purposely designed this phone like this too extract more money out of people one of the worst phones I have purchased and stuck on a two year contract costing me over £2000

Victus glass my ah barely brushed the phone on the edge didnt even feel any contact i dont mind a crack but it started flickering like crazy never buying a samsung ever again
