Nice Tutorial brotha ! I’ve been doing iPhone displays for about 2 years now and have the process down, but tempted to start on Samsung displays ! You make it look easy lol. I have one question for in frame what temp do you set the hot plate to? Cheers !🤙🍻😎
Hey, Thank you for the Guide. Before I start, I just want to know is the digitizer damaged if the screen flickers? I don't want to do a glass replacement if the oled digitizer is already damage.
This is definitely done by a pro, I did the better option for me which is get new screen with digitalizer in it then switched out the broken one. Yes I had to disassemble the phone but its not hard to do. You really got to know what your doing when following this video. I was uncomfortable doing it this way, but it is a nice option when you get more practice in.
@shawnwarner7142 you can Google screen replacement for your model. You can also get it from the original supplier. I have a samsung, so I got mine from samsung. Depending on the model it's about 300$ but it's the better option
hello doctor phone. why not use 90⁰ instead of 120⁰?? Can the new OLEDs heat up more without damage? Can I use 0.05 mm wire for old Samsung S9 Note9 OLEDs? In any case I take great pleasure in separating the curved screens, it's so beautiful and satisfying !! Thanks in advance
great video! idk why but it is soo pleasing to see cutting through to OCA. Btw I have just started doing screen glass only replacement for curved displays, and so far oly s8 and note 9 screen were succesfull. I have cut through at least 17 glaxy s22/s23 polarizer. It always happpens at the beginning after getting the 2 corners cut of. so frustrating hahah. (s22 and s23 are only for practice and not working OLEDS)
Why repair a screen with lcd damage? Replacing glass makes sense when that is all that is broken but having any issues with the lcd would seem to be a good reason just to replace the whole screen.
@@MrPhoneDoctor lol.. Asked you a straight forward question, as damaged LCD means resale is going to be shit and unlike some glass crack, can't be mitigated with screen cover, and you give me a pretentious "Aren't you stupid for asking such a question" answer. Got it, your a douche who can't someone even curious about a choice being made. Easy Mute and "don't recommend channel". Do better guy.
Dude, your video is gold, explaining all those tips without charging for it, you're amazing man!
Too much patients are required for this operation. Good Bles, you sir.

It is working well, i ve underst that "bubbles and waves appear after a short time" ?
Great video as always mr. Phone doctor. What is your success rate out of 10 screens how many u mess up ?😅
Ty for watching we have a pretty high success rate I'd say 90 -95%
Hi, bro. Perfect job.
What thickness of cut wire did you use?
.04
Might be a dumb question but, do you need to keep the phone on the heating pad on at all times while working or just to get it started?
Only when taking the back glass off and then back on when cutting front glass.
To break at the top, you don’t use the dot glass tool anymore?
Not on these newer models. Not much edge to grab with the dot glass on these displays.
What is the temperature of the machine when cutting wires?
Dry ice actually can workout with these oleds but still need patience.

Might be cutting to much at one time. Need to make small cuts so tension does not cause polar damage..
@@MrPhoneDoctor 1000% caused by rushing too much. I have to learn to pace myself
All that equipment costs more than just buying an actual new screen lool

Lots of reasons why... I'll let you think on this for a bit before answering.

Nice tutorial! I have a question. Why use wire and heat instead of freezing machines?
great video
Takes alot of patience which I don't have. So will not attempt this.
Post a video how to replace it on a galaxy s22 ultra da back glass
Back glass is easy. Just like any other models. Look at my channel I have s20 very similar
What type of liquid using
99% Isopropyl Alcohol
Iso 99
