Nice job, I prefer a Samsung factory technician to fix my screen! I do believe they have special equipment to seal the device.
Special equipment ? not at all or maybe they just have a robot to do it or something, and at least a clean room. They apply the original adhesive or some aftermarket one which you can also find and buy . It's somewhere around 9-10 euros or so. It usually comes as a sticker and maybe with some screws with loctite applied. The process is easy to do and for me personally I already pulled apart my s21 ultra to replace one of the cameras, used the adhesive kit, and forgot i had it in my pocket when i was swimming in the sea; anyway I found it after being submerged for about 15 minutes or so. The phone had no damage; fast forward half a year i had to open it again to change the battery and all the water damage indicators were white. The only downside of doing it yourself is that you don't have a clean room without dust and if you're not careful you might close the phone up with some dust on one or more of the lenses, which will lead to diminished photo quality.
@@alexM-tc1nryup, the original adhesive won't left traces everywhere. I've once try to reglue my samsung phone on some small repair phone store, they're using the black glue, then several years, i change the screen on samsung official, the technician told me that black glue actually not recomended, because it's really hard to clean that glue, also if the glue get heated by phone heat time by time it'll become liquid that could damaging the camera lens.That's what they told me

What is the spray you are using to soften the adhesive? Also why do you take the cover for the charging assembly and the logic board out? It looks like the display connector connects on top the logic board. Couldn't you just disconnect it there and then remove the display?
Any spray with alcohol i would say, wd40 not recommended because it's greasy, isopropyl alcohol works. I've used brake cleaner for example to remove the battery from a phone...these samsung phones with the glue inside meant to keep the galaxy together don't stand a chance. That bad boy can scare any sticky adhesive away. But careful here, as it's not friendly with some types of plastic and some paint, but it evaporates quite quick, also i would be careful to not let too much go into contact with the screen because it will remove oleofobic coatings and maybe more. Use in a well ventilated area, it's quite strong and can generate headaches.

The water resistance is like little rain or something. If the phone had never been dropped or opened, the resistance should work. I'm not recommending that the phone been put into water. Even if there are many videos about that. It's an electrical gadget and the water is not her friend.

Samsung has a huge problem on their hands. Stores that claim to be Corporate but are just 'Authorized Retailers/Resellers' are selling customers grey market phones. Or just plain fake/replica phones. These perpetrators are in for a rude awakening...

Im watching this on my own 24 Ultra and Im a bit curious of the story of the broken screen. Ive done a few drop demos to show off in front of co-workers and family. Not counting 5ft+ drops and throws. I dont see any dents on the frame, so i would assume it dropped facedown onto 2 pointed objects. It had from a fair height also. So, fake 24 Ultra or demo model that didnt have Gorilla Glass for showing off.

This seriously upsets me. I can understand if you've had a andriod a while. Around 2 or three months! Is or was the owner from iPhone? I know they love broken screens. It's like an iPhone fad. If the screen isn't broke your doing something wrong. But a bascilly brand new Samsung galaxy s24 ultra (nearly $1,300! Your an idiot! An nerd to be smacked!) I was raised to take care of stuff an be responsible with it! Also if I wanted it? I paid for it. Even something like this at 5 yrs old with a 50 cent week allowance!
