Ian's best vocals of the entire reunion? He was pretty much in tune for the whole song which I don't think I've heard in any other reunion performance.
ruclips.net/channel/UCefCdMq0CYsu9LUjf3zv9_Q thats my page link if anyones interested in hearing some Guitar jams similar style to squire i would like to think lol
After dissecting that portion of the song, Ian might just be a tad late. But he didn't sing the wrong lyrics. If anything it seems that multiple members were signaling that they were too low and for whoever was running the board to increase their volume.
@@ELCHUCKO666 I saw quite a few shows on this tour and you are right most of the time the sound seemed to be for want of a better description bouncing around the arena. The Bass seemed to have a volume control of its own the vocals kept becoming almost lost and then come back loud and quite a few of the songs had a real bad Hiss and crackle. my best description would be like power surges. Only time I noticed anything on the tour so could be venue specific.
The roses have always been plagued by bad sound engineer's at gigs and they still fucking AMAZING. I saw them way back in the original days so all you moaners just be happy and thankful they reformed for a while and you got to experience their greatness. YEAH YEAH YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!
It's weird - Since they reformed on this track Reni is swinging the beat noticeably more than he used to - on 'I am the Resurrection' he's swinging it less... not sure why either cause they were perfect as they were...
It's sad to think this is a band probably working out their notice. Ian's got his solo kit on! So it seems the decision's been made at this point. Great footage to see tho. Thanks for sharing 😊
God, they're fucking excellent aren't they. No back up guitarist. No female backing trio in nice dresses, not played at a different speed, no horn section, no keyboards to 'fill out' the sound. No variation from the internation of the lyrics, no 'and now to help us with this one Eric Clapton', no jazz break in the middle.....
Weird singer, seen him live twice with Roses and once solo in a small club, he can sing 8 out of 10 tunes spot on but there is always a couple of tunes where he sings like he suddenly became tone deaf. I have been at a couple of thousand music gigs over 30 years and never seen anyone else do that!
@@johncollins5552 agree totally. Seen brown a lot over the years and I mean a lot. On solo Gigs he was mostly on form. Especially in Glasgow. Never a bad gig in Glasgow honestly. Compared to few times in Edinburgh and sound was so bad I wanted to fight him lol
THIS WHOLE STORY WITH THE BANS REVIVAL HAS BECOME RIDICULOUS. MAYBE THE BEST REVIVAL WAS THAT OF SLOWDIVE. THESE BANDS WERE GREAT AND PRODUCED MASTERIECES. BUT NOW ALL THESE PEOPLE ARE OLD AND IT IS A LITTLE BIT SAD TO SEE THEM TRYING TO ROCK. LEAVE THEM TO REST WITH THEIR TEA IN THEIR COUCH AND THANK THEM FOR THEIR HERITAGE. I AM 46 YEARS OLD AND HAS GROWN WITH THIS MUSIC!!!!!!!!
This version suffers from Squire having to use the bottleneck slide all the way through. On the record he switches to fretted parts. His chorus and lead parts sound a mess here.
Ian Brown might have credit for some of the words, maybe even music, but he's the weakest link in the band. Can't sing on time! or is it the amount of effects they've had to put on the vocal to make him sound anywhere near respectable?
They only made 2 albums, yet their set is a greatest hits.
Fuck you

What top 3 in history???

My favorite rock song of the 90's
ever listened to the beatles? led zeppelin? pink floyd?
@@georgeweller6023 Are they new bands? Will check them out.
What I love about this band is how oftentimes each band member is playing a slightly different style but they make it work as one sound
Me too
So glad me and my wife seen this english band at the madison square garden

I know, right? Impressive!
The whole gig was.
Wow what an achievement!
All roses fans grateful to you Steve
Like bobby gilespie said, 'best comeback single ever',, 😎✌
they never sound so sharp! fantastic. thanks for sharing.
These videos are ALL amazing... Thank you so very much!!!
amazing?...... they are fooking shite!
rallyboy101 you serious they sound fukin great
It's brutal, Brown can't even sing on time never mind in tune.
Music likes baked beans.

This show was awesome!
I wish the intro was a few mins longer
That fucking slide guitar. Damn son.

Reni owning that shit!

Yep right there on that stage you have the best drummer, bass player and guitarist of their generation.

Such a good performance from Ian here!
Apart from coming in early at 3m50s.😂

They sound top here tbf 👌😊
Fucking quality.

Nice work Steve

Wow, the band really cut down the intro for this. Doesn't feel like it had time to warm up.
Ian’s voice is good in these concerts but I think he needs a change of microphone. Reni is as perfect as always.
Is it me or is Ian looking more and more like Bez... on Xanax?

Mani doesn't play the bass the same as the album version. Which is a shame. The album bass track is superb 👌
They toured the US in 95
Reni got IB so loose here. Such a sleazy groove to this tune
Best Oasis song of all time
Oasis?😂😂
Reni looks like santa just waked up to hit the drums
I don’t think it’s Reni ?? Anyone out there can verify???
os "veinho" são foda ainda.
Brown buggered up the opening
He looks like Vanilla Ice

You know he multi overlayed on the album, right?
That because JS recorded about 5 or 6 separate guitar tracks on the studio version. He’s having to improvise to be able to play it live
Lead singer is hard to watch.
Ian Brown might have credit for some of the words, maybe even music, but he's the weakest link in the band. Can't sing on time! or is it the amount of effects they've had to put on the vocal to make him sound anywhere near respectable?
you don't listen to the roses for the singing mate
Maybe not, but it's a rabble.
he also looks uncomfortable on stage - you'd think he'd be used to it by now...?
some kind of Auto tune device
Rock and Roll is not a Vulcan value.
Drummer is out of beat from the rest of the band
Shame they fucked it up again
Mani swallowed viagra
bad cover of their own song yikes
I don't like the swing feel to the drums.
The fuckin drummer RUINED this AMAZING song....The DRUM parts as recorded are artwork right with guitar lines !
