What a night at providence park last night...i saw dairon before the match and happy to see the fans appreciate him
Can someone translate what was asked and what was said by Phil in the last question..? Kinda wild a 3min section of this was not translated.
i find it cool that our english coach speaks spanish, can communicate w the whole team
@@chasefry7904 I agree, I feel like he said something real good there, but sadly I only know a very narrow bit of Spanish. Seems like he was speaking on the opportunity for other players? And that this was not a good bye, but a see you later for Dairon.
Roughly (not a native speaker): We changed our mentality. Evander scored the goal two minutes before halftime, so during the break talked a lot about our mentality. There was a lot of pressure, the first half was difficult. We were under pressure, so for the second half we knew we had to bring patience and quality, the stars of the team had to win the ball for us, Rodriguez, Evander, Santi…. But for me tonight the special thing was Dairon. He’s a legend with 8 years with the club, many good matches with crucial goals in big games. And he’s a great guy. They love him, I love him. It’s a hard decision for him to leave, so we have to work hard and strong to find opportunity to find a new player, and the trade window is closed, so I rely on the others like Williamson, Ayala, Fogaca, Antony, Paredes… it’s an opportunity for them to follow a great man. We will figure it out soon.
