This format started becoming really hilarious to me. You meet someone new, like a janitor, it flashes forward, Sae accuses you of cheating at your chores without elaborating, and it flashes back to the past and shows you the Confidant being formed. Every time.
lowkey legit tho when you have confidants like kawakami letting joker play hooky and shit so that he doesnt snitch to anyone about what her other part time job was lmao 💀
Ann - So you needed someone with charms and acting talent for blending in and distractions Yusuke - So you needed someone with artistic talent to design your disguises and calling cards Morgana - So you needed a veteran thief to teach you how to make your own tools Ryuji - So you just needed...someone
Well, Madarame had a LOT of pupils. Plenty of artists who were talented and had beef with the old geezer. So I think the police were still investigating the other students.
Like the comment above said, she just tries to get Joker to admit. She knows who the PTs are, but they have no proof and if Akira confessed that would be enough proof. That's the whole point of the entire interrogation
That hit her hard. Especially when you think about how Sae was during that time. She focused solely on her work and barely even gave Makoto the time of day.
A reminder that the Judgment Arcana is not only a recap of everything leading up to the climax of the Fool's Journey, but also one final Hail Mary in the face of annihilation.
Sae: so, Futaba Sakura hacked medjet, a group of hackers, away to save the Phantom thieves Sae, five minutes later: WHO could POSSIBLY be the HACKED that was on your side?!
I know this is a one year joke and that I will probably be wooshed, but Joker doesn't actually give away the identities of any of the people he works with throughout the game. What we see is his flashback, not what he tells Sae.
I believe all of the adults that you maxed out their confidant linked helped by keeping your identity a secret since they do figure out that Ren is a phantom thief when you max them out. That's probably the only thing I can think of.
Sae: Are you saying that Makoto was sticking her nose into this phantom thief business? Me: B*tch she stalked me around the place while I was onto Madarame
I've been p5r and one day while i was on my way to the velvet room I saw a chat bubble in the distance I got closer and I just saw her with a book in her face I started laughing so hard
It got increasingly obvious who the thieves were. After kaneshiro it should’ve been bleedingly obvious. Shujin was one of his rackets the school where the first victim had a change of heart. And a bunch of shujin students were hanging out with yusuke who is connected to the only other victim.
@@shateeqsmith It's partially because the police report about his arrest also seemed to be very unclear of the specifics about how they arrested him, briefly mentioning "That other world". Which means that basically she's aware that, based on the police report, she'd still be looking for a non-"other world" explanation for...the "other world" where he was caught.
@@dalemonshateu6948 There's a third option - the camera *is* recording the scene, but it wouldn't be admissible as evidence. And even if it was, it would require someone as Joker's defense lawyer to request the footage in its entirety, because the police would just use the signed confession to prove that he was being tortured - which it sounds like, as its not necessarily exculpatory evidence, would be denied. It's evidence about interrogation tactics, not evidence really pertaining to whether or not Joker was guilty or not. And that's presuming that the defense lawyer or the defendant had the right to request said exculpatory evidence - which, in Japan's legal system, I'm not sure of the exact status of.
I have a lawyer lady friend i asked her some legal questions as she was pondering on the answers and i was pressed for time i slammed the table sae nijima style to hurry her along and she threatened to break my fingers after a long ominous pause
I wanna make sure I haven’t screwed up before I waste more time trying to get the true ending. Do the flashbacks determine your ending or just the final interrogation meeting?
21:05 I'm kinda stuck there. Do I have to reply something to all or just "..."? 🥶 And can I avoid the deal (not the "official" one, I mean the tarot deal) with Sae?? 😭🥶

Table Abusing Simulator 5 Royal
For me, an Ace Attorney fan, it was Tuesday.
Ann - So you needed someone with charms and acting talent for blending in and distractions
Yusuke - So you needed someone with artistic talent to design your disguises and calling cards
Morgana - So you needed a veteran thief to teach you how to make your own tools
Ryuji - So you just needed...someone
Ryuji - So you needed someone with brawn to assist you in your operations
I mean...
Yeah. We all need someone. And Ryuji was there from start to finish.
A little overenthusiastic. But was there nonetheless.
"The identity of Madarame's pupil can easily be discovered"
How the hell have they not investigated Yusuke yet?
Well, Madarame had a LOT of pupils. Plenty of artists who were talented and had beef with the old geezer. So I think the police were still investigating the other students.
The police'll target Nakanohara first, or at least way before they got their eyes on Yusuke. He's working with the government, after all.
Because Sae is trying to coerce Joker into confessing. She already knows who the PTs are, her job is to get Joker to admit to it.

That poor table. At least it was spared from a fate worse than the one in code geass.
Some of Sae’s questions are utterly ridiculous, it’s true, but I must say that the voice actor did a great job with that character.

Sae is just completely misusing the phrase "Your reputation precedes you" in the bad ending. Like, does she know what that phrase means?
I assume she meant that in the sense of “You’re just a weak-willed criminal.” Which is certainly the PTs’ reputation at that point in the story.
I can’t be the only one who thinks about the Tyler1 “help!” Meme screech whenever you get pulled back into the interrogation room

Just the final interrogation meeting. When you get to that point, just make sure you answer correctly to proceed the story.
