Awesome vid, fantastic workmanship from all involved, you made that look easy,(but know it wasn't). Keep up the good work. Your vids are ace. Big thanks. Mark 👍👍👍👍
J/M. How about L322 Vogue pew's with those thin style arm rests in the front ? Downunder a next phase is shoehorning the Ford Barra' engines into Land Rovers. It will need a classy name to boot sir ! V.
Hope you keep all your measurements for future builds every on you do should be easier and quicker after that your builds are becoming insane keep up the good work
What an awesome conversion, can’t wait to see the finished article and what you do with regards the remodelling of the tunnel. Air shifter for the High/Low selector is a great idea, any chance you could share where you sourced this bit a kit from? Keep up the great work guys. 😎👍
Great work as usual guys, I was wondering about the law regulations there in the UK about this kind o engine swap, do you need to register again the vehicle or doing something else in order to legally drive it on the road? Thanks ps: always can’t wait to see some new videos on line, cheers from Italy 🇮🇹!!
what year is the engine and box out of if you dont mind me asking as i was told i had to go for a later engine and box, forgot to say would you like to sell me those mounts you just took off for the engine as putting a td5 into a range rover classic chassis lol worth a try
Take it you lot aren’t familiar with working with auto boxes? Just so you know, to install one you install the torque converter to the box first then bolt the box and engine together then use the access holes to bolt on tc to flywheel, if you install it like a manual gearbox with a clutch it will smash the gearbox to bits
We’re very familiar with auto boxes, we don’t currently have the flexi plate so we haven’t installed the TC, we just wanted to mock the running gear assembly together for the weld on mounts, its all back out and ready for the required parts
@@juicemotors good point matey, is it the first generation 3.0d or the second? The later had the economic timing chain kits fitted as opposed to the stronger first series 3.0d. Does the weight distribution change much through the tratter as well? So many questions and on a day off😜
Can anyone help me ? I have a 2003 Defender 90 that needs a new head gasket The garage I gave it to have had it since Jan and keep fobbing me 🤦♂️ I’m in the midlands and happy to take it to within an hour or so 🙏
So glad to see you do that, I always hate to see a new engine put into a sometimes very grubby engine bay,
Glad to see a 110 make over. Can't wait to see it done
Another fantastic build nearing completion. Looking brilliant as always!
Cannot wait to see the end product.
Down hill welds have little penitration , weave up hill , then do pritty down hill to make it more aesthetically pleasing if necessary, good job 👏
Watching this makes me want to change careers! looks sick lads, as always.
I’ve just noticed your subscriber numbers - well done!
Previous provider 🤣. Smashing it guys can't wait to see this finished
Nice build! When you say the gearbox sump is at 0° left to right that's cool!, but what about the front to back angle? Cheers!
very nice indeed. be interesting when finished
Gimpish 😂😂😂 ,
Big moves guys , smashing it
The dream defender for me Land Rover cool with a BMW power and a self shifter

Great job Guys,
Can whait til the next one!
Hvl.
Super clever! Think you were surprised just how well that went !?😎👍🏻
Can you add air shift for the automatic gearbox? Then paddle shifters.

Big thanks. Mark 👍👍👍👍

Out of curiosity, what cameras do you guys use for most of your time lapse videos? Go-Pros or a DSLR?
What transfer box ratio you used? and you used the original prop shafts?
such a good video 🤌
Great video even though it was a bit short on puppy content.😉

So the shifter is going to look similar to that of the NAS spec Defenders?
Great video😊 you rock🥳😎👊
Méga job, could you use the sump from a 2wd bmw? Would you have considered a timing chain replacement as well.
Not enough videos dude. 🤘😎👍
The X5 sump is better suited for this as it’s shallower above the front axle 😎

Please can you do this conversion on Disco3?
Any reason that this setup wouldn’t work on a 2Dr Classic Rangie?
How much does it cost for a TDCi BMW engine transfer and automatic gearbox?
Can you please provide link to airshifter
Can anyone help me ?
