Since appearing at The Walrus Talks, Sarah Robinson passed away in May 2021. She was a proud citizen of the Fort Nelson First Nation and the Saulteau First Nation, in Treaty 8 territory. She served in the Minister’s Advisory Council on Indigenous Women (MACIW), which advises the government on improving quality of life for Indigenous women in British Columbia. She was also the principal at Rainwatch Consulting and an Action Canada Fellow.
