My similar setup has three inexpensive, 40 watt, 4500 lumen, 5000k ,48",shop lights per 12" wide shelf, achieving 13,500 lumen for 120 watts of electrical draw, or 112.5 lumen per watt. The Spider Farmer puts out 145.26 lumen per watt, 10,718 lumen total using 74 watts in a much more aesthetically pleasing and more economical package. While great for vegetable seedlings, greens, and microgreens, I doubt that either of these setups would successfully grow fruiting vegetables. It is nice to have a decorative lamp available in a format that fits the widely used standard 48" shelves, now let's see a 200 watt version. Thanks for the information and effort.

Thanks for the feedback Good Goat. I have a habanero pepper plant that just started to flower under the SF600 light... its been under the light for the past month and looks good, I'll post when it produces fruit. I appreciate the comment!

@@TikkiOOO - The SF lamp uses 23% less electricity than my shop lights, probably has a better spectrum, and looks good. The top line Samsung LEDs used in higher output grow lamps are capable of 200+ lumens per watt saving more electricity for a given light output and provide much higher intensity. I look forward to your results and always much enjoy your videos. Thanks for the efforts.
