I remember watching that video as soon as it was posted. It was so impactful I can remember it clear as day. Sitting in my patrol car watching traffic. Had no idea it was you or that it went viral. I’m now a huge fan
For anybody dealing with somebody suffering from memory issues short term is what usually will go first. Long term memories are rooted deep inside the brain and focusing on old memories helps a lot. It can be a great distraction from the persons current state when they recall good memories.
Outstanding interview!! I'm a new subscriber who recently found your channel. Thank you both for all you do and have done. There are countless people in this country who could use a wake-up call, and what you are doing is unbelievably important. It's time to wake up people! Thank you for the much-needed wisdom you share.
This guy is a HERO and what EVERY police officer MUST do when faced with orders and edicts that violate their Oaths to our Constitution. Its not easy, I know its their careers and many have young families and many financial needs. But this is their time and its happening on their watch. IF everyone of them or the vast majority did this, We can save this Republic!
I’m currently trying to get into law enforcement as a police officer in Southern California out of all places and this really offered great insight into whether I’m up for it or not. Thanks!
I went overseas with Triple Canopy instead of being a cop and now the way things are, I am glad I did that instead. Don't become a California LEO. You violate your oath in this state every time you wake up. Every new law that passes is an infringement.
California law enforcement are still handing out fines to restaurants and issuing more traffic citations than ever before in history, yet they're so under prepared to handle emergencies that they now have automated answering and hold music when you dial 9-11 "Do not hang up, your call is very important to us... Please wait on the line until the next representative is available."
1:28:43 Cops are trained to be "policy enforcers" and the organizational culture is one of victimizing the public for the benefit of the gang. Not to mention, they're so damn afraid that they gang up on defenseless (cuffed) citizens, breaking off their legs, paralyzing them or worse -- all under the guise of officer safety. They think a jaywalking offense is grounds for killing someone. It's ludicrous.
@@RichardCranium321 California is issuing more traffic citations than ever before? Clearly you dont live in California because you would know how bullshit that is. Traffic enforcement has fallen off a cliff in all of California. My guess is you live in one of the welfare states that California funds with its tax dollars.

Great interview and person. What he said about martial arts training is so true. As a 4th grader and new in town, I was challenged by the kids at school. I didn't get beat up by anybody because I was a pretty big kid, but then my parents put me into Karate school taught by one of the best, Frank Scalercio who I later in life learned was the first non-Korean to earn a black belt in Korea in his martial art was a great learning experience as well as confidence builder for me even though at that time I was too young to appreciate that part of his Karate life and he never made a big deal out of it. It was more important to him to teach kids and to be a community role model also as a Sonoma Country Sherrif officer in the late 1960s. On and off I continued training throughout my early adult life in various martial arts where I appreciated so many things beyond just the fighting skill itself.
Greg Anderson’s two-part interview is my favorite to date. Thanks to you both. Edit: Not really sure why Part Two has 129k more views than Part One. Make sure to catch Part One, it will give you a better understanding of what made him the man he ended up being.

Hey Mike, As a US Forest Service LEO in Idaho, I’d like to share with you a day in our boots. No disrespect to the USMS, but there’s some much needed clarification.
This resonates with me. I'm a police officer, BJJ blue belt and keep an EMT license for medical emergencies which are common in the field. I too, quit my department during covid. I am now employed as a school resource officer. When I was training bjj, a lot of officers were doing it with me and we were getting injured. The department made it clear that they were not going to be responsible for taking care of our injuries and if we were off work, we were going to get stuck with the bills. It's tough sometimes. Especially now. It's harder than ever to be a cop. Nobody likes you. I just try to be a positive influence to the people around me and do my part. I'm a combat vet as well. And I believe strongly in the constitution. It's usually not the individual police officers, it's the upper administration that causes problems.

Retired Fed here and dude, you are so correct. We had a female that couldn’t qualify with her weapon at FLETC, they made us all go outside and take a break while she stayed on the range to shoot. Miraculously, she qualified while we were outside on break. PT at FLETC is akin to earning a participation trophy. There is no passing standard, only have to participate. I served on a U.S. Marshal’s Fugitive Task Force. When we ran out of high risk warrants to serve, we served other agencies warrants. We once jerked a dude out of his bed at 0500 for an unpaid US Fish and Wildlife unpaid fishing in a handicapped zone ticket. Guy couldn’t believe we were hooking him up for this but to your point, unpaid ticket resulted in a federal warrant.

Just seen Pantera and lamb of god in manassas va last month was a awesome show
When all the smoke cleared look who was 110% right???? THAT'S RIGHT THIS MAN!!!! YOU WILL FOREVER GO DOWN IN THE HISTORY BOOKS AND YOU'LL GO DOWN IN THE HISTORY BOOKS AS A LEADER WHO WAS RIGHT THE WHOLE TIME!!! YOU THE MAN! I LIVE IN WASHINGTON STATE SO ITS RARE THAT WE HAVE GREAT COPS LIKE YOU, I AM FORTUNATE AND DO HAVE GOOD COPS IN OUR SMALL TOWNS HERE, BUT THE PEOPLE FROM PORTLAND LIKE THE PROSECUTORS!!!
Bro I saw Pantera with white zombie in San Diego 98 while I was in the Corps! Avenged Sevenfold is my favorite out now! Great live shows!
Im fortunate to work for a PD where we didnt enforce anything. Our mayer was very open about not doing it. My county also defied the state lockdown and the prosecutors were not prosicuting any of the cases either. But i love hearing stories like this when guys give the middle finger and do not go against their oath.
Outstanding. If anyone is going to pull thus county out of the toilet it is going to be men like this and all veterans who are worth a salt, if that time never comes this country is forever never will be what it used to be.
I’ve been procrastinating on getting my son involved in a jujitsu gym and listening to you gents talk about it’s impact has been the nudge that’s made take the initiative.
I remember when your video came out. I had nothing but respect for you. Someone who actually took a stand for what you believe in. Fuck everyone else.
