PJ’s are bad ass dudes. I can listen to this all day. Talk about brains & athleticism. This guy was incredible. Easy dude to root for in life. Hope he has a great healthy long life enjoying his family. Thank you both for your service. Thanks men
I’m with you one of the things I miss is riding on birds like that, my favorite was sitting on the ramp of a Chinook with my legs hanging off flying map of the earth over the Alaskan Range, can’t beat it or in a Blackhawk flying over Baghdad or wherever hanging out just awesome.
I was in Marjah, Helmand Province with 3/9 K and my entire platoon knew exactly what an occlusive dressing was, and how to apply one. This guy was probably supporting army units.
Jason, such a great interview. Really enjoyed hearing more of your story, particularly enjoy the parts about you and your dad. Have enjoyed watching Socom Athlete's social media presence grow and grow. Continued success to you and Jessica and your beautiful family. That Others May Live!
I’m a new comer to this channel, but I’m not ashamed to admit it’s my new addiction. Loved this interview with my Air Force brother. Never served in SF, but I was friends with many of them and participated in many training events with them. Met a shit ton of great people in that niche. In a big way they shaped my attitude towards fitness and my motivation to have excellence in all I do! FASCINATING INTERVIEW, LOVED Every minute of it. Respect to you Mike and all your guests as well! Most respectfully, Ssgt. JDL🇺🇸
I've never been in the military but I had a close friend get into a lawnmower accident where it pinned him on a pool top cover and he drowned and we did not find him soon enough and hes exactly right when you see a dead body you know they're dead but medavac showed up with a helicopter because the location was in the countryside and they still did 45 minutes of CPR on him and gave him multiple adrenaline shots you name it. My best description of a dead body because the memory still haunts me until this day is you can tell that every single muscle in their body is relaxed all the colors left their skin their eyes glaze over and their belly's stick and look ballooned.
As a loadmaster on the C-141A, my most rewarding Missions were Medevacs. Flight Nurses are the best! Most professional and compassionate human beings to exist! Active duty or Reserve, the best! Loved you all! ❤️
Mike - I think people’s beef with the ads is more about their length, not so much their existence which most realize are necessary. I’m still gonna listen even if you have 10 minute ads. I’m simply relaying the audience perspective. Your ad segments are definitely on the longer side when compared to other popular podcasts. There are even a few that are meticulously timed so that the standard double click to fast forward lines up perfectly with the start and end of them. Those are the best. It’s all love from this end. Just sharing thoughts. Thanks for doing what you do.
Dont really know what to think of this dude obviously a hero etc but comes across as a bit of a ballbag....when talking about the royal marines, If they're in the thick of a heavy tic being 100% sure if their brother is dead or going to die could be a bit of a long shot and like anyone would do your going to give him the best chance you've got which would be to call in the pj's. People can literally be pretty much brought back to life so worth a try. My guess would be I doubt it was some sort of plan for support.
Bro, “the guys on the ground aren’t gonna know how to use an occlusive dressing” is absolutely not true. Ground medics are trained wayyy beyond OCD’s lol.
TCCC would imply that most know how to apply a chest seal. I agree with what he’s saying. But basic medical across all military would hopefully know how to deal with sucking chest wound. Idk why he said that. Most first aid kits have chest seals or needle Ds.
The truth about basketball I broke my ankle in Iraq playing screw around basketball, and had to sit and watch all my buddies roll out everyday while I sit monitoring radios or whatever for about two months 😢😂.
Mike really had to squeeze Jason for 3 Short Stories out of 62 Missions any other mission stories No that's about for right now. Okay all this Hype for Couple hours and 10 min of His Experiences in Afghanistan. Thought part two was going to be good but Sucked. Sorry to say. And I don't care about your feelings🥱
I love Mike’s podcasting ability. Ask great questions, let’s his guest speak without interruptions. 100% one of the best on YT.
Easily

Brains?
@@benbirch2393he’s implying that he’s smart and is athletic
My brothers bestfriend is a PJ and he's completely insane....in a good way. It takes a special person to do that job.
34:34 Andy Stumpf would be horrified at this jump story!😂
Glad you made it safely in the, Jason. Insane!😝
Mandy stump sat in the back with the radio. He didn’t do shit 😂😂

Awesome episode as always 🙏🏼🇺🇲
Just a great interview Mike with such interesting gentleman. The world needs more people like Jason.
It would be great if you would consider having USAF CCT Rob Gutierrez on your show … his story and heroism is one for the books.
The last one was interesting, looking forward to this one.
Guest proposal:
Colonel Douglas Macgregor 🗣
When you think you can't love and support our guys anymore than we already do.....Mike Drop keeps bringing them❤

For a podcast like MikeDrop and the amount of subscribers to only have just over 400 likes is a beyond me
I’m a flight nurse, can’t imagine doing the job while also getting shot at. Thank you for your service

Mike just keeps crushing these interviews!
Great interview. Very inspirational for a guy looking at bilateral knee replacements and feeling weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeek
“ we don’t give a fuck about your feelings” Finally someone. That is refreshing.
Thank you both for your service
*So Others May Live!*
Great book.
Mike, please consider having Python Cowboy on your podcast. He uses dogs to hunt snakes. He was recently on the JRE, it’d be a legendary podcast
This is the dude who runs socom athlete. My boys are a little young, but if interested I’ll send them there. Looks like some good stuff

What a top notch man
So the sponsors require the interruptions in the middle of conversations?
The dudest of bros, or the broest of dudes?
Oscar-worthy teaser.

Why would you ask him if he tried to fight his dad? Have some class Mike. Sit up straight and take off your hat. It’s ok that you’re bald.

British troops are deprived of vital air support.
