Thank you for this! I met Bill Medley after his show in Las Vegas recently!!! He and his new partner Bucky Heard are the nicest people you can meet. Bill is kind, funny, and genuine. He's 83 years old now but still active. He working on a new album and producing records, but will not tour after this year. And he still sounds wonderful and looks great! A legend! Keep listening!
I am from his era and thought he was very attractive. But I never heard this song by him. He was fantastic!! He updated it just a little and was great. 🎉🎉🎉🎉❤❤❤❤
Amazing! His voice is sooooo unique, so beautiful, and stirring and he doesn't miss a note no matter how emotional the song is. Bill Medley puts his very soul out there in the Universe for his solos. God took the two most beautiful male voices, blessed two beautiful men with them, made them as different as night and day and brought them together for the world to hear. "Georgia on My Mind" and "Brown Eyed Woman" are 2 of Bill Medley's solos that I love as well. Thank you so much for featuring both of these beautiful singers together and each doing their solos.
And the odd thing is they were born 1 month apart, in different parts of the country. But Bobby's family moved to within 10 miles of Bill. Bobby & Bill listened to the same music and sang in different groups, but they shared a guitarist, who brought them together. Talk about Fate!!!
Exactly! What are the odds? I loved seeing them on Shindig every week and now it's all being brought back for others to see and hear. Still kinda waiting for a reactor dive more into their lively performances that I loved about them.@@LaurelT1948
