I was a car salesperson and I was the most successful salesperson that dealer has ever seen. Whilst closing sales is important, opening the sale is the most important bit. Understanding your customer is absolutely paramount to success.
I totally agree knowing/ understanding the customer is paramount and that knowledge allows you to best serve and guide them. You can’t be afraid to open or close a sale. Point is sales shouldn’t be scary but make it an enjoyable part of the entire client experience.
