@@supasf You can actually take a 100mg caffeine pill and 200mg of l theanine, the ratio is 2:1. Many have shown improvement with this
It helps in every competitive game, even in those not designed specificly to play tournaments. This is best channel for competitive players! No matter if you want to get money from playing on high level tournaments or you just want to be the best in titles less popular.
Just a little info for anyone wanting to explore the world of nootropics (including caffeine) for the purpose of improving your gaming performance:
Almost every up has a down. There are plenty of things you can take that will temporarily boost your performance by a significant margin, but almost all of them will leave you depleted and performing worse than before for some period of time. This includes caffeine. If you use it all the time, you will get used to it and it will do very little to improve your performance. And once you stop, you will likely see a decline in your abilities for a while.
Don't care? Fine. I recommend you try Adrafinil. Your welcome. Now you have an entire day where you can game better than you have in your entire life, while still feeling much like you normally do. With Adrafinil I had less negative effects than caffeine, and my performance was off the charts (compared to normal). You will build tolerance fast, so don't think that this is something you can use often. Oh, and take Adrafinil the moment you wake up in the morning, because if you're anything like me, you won't be sleeping well that night otherwise.
If you have any questions about this and some other nootropics, I would be happy to relay my experiences.
TLDR: Nootropics are awesome, but in the long run you are probably better off just living a healthy life. Get lots of sleep, eat well, and exercise.

I think caffeine has more of positive then negative effect when it comes to performance. Yes caffeine gives you that boost of mental energy and sharpness of focus but it depends how you use that energy in game, if you have great knowledge of a game and come game day, all you need is an energy drink and all that hard work and knowledge shows off in game without any hesitation and complete confidence in your performance, Everything just flows nice and smooth, almost as if you saw it your mind like you predicted before hand... next thing you know, you won the match.

0:20 I always take off my hoodie or sweater before gaming, as I find it annoying to play in excess clothing. Maybe he does that whenever he sits down to play, so ripping off the jacket was possibly a small ritual to put him into his normal flow state.

You should take the pill when you need it the most, the positive effects are a boost. Negative effects start flowing in after the positive effects so time it in a way that the negative effects wont affect your learning or test performance.

These videos are great but always be cautious as there are ads in these videos so there may be a slight bias but if you use this as just one source of a few then you will know what information is based on fact and what is based on bias.
Caffine helps BUT, in most games you get to a point where you KNOW you can win and you KNOW you can beat your opponent, which is what happened in the fighting tourna, he was so confident he could win and thus he did
Yes, and chugging a caffeine right before match likely had little effect other than placebo, it takes 20-30 min to properly get into system.
So what exactly should I drink to get both performance boosts? I mean if I drink monster or any other energy drinks I will only get caffeine. If I drink green tea I will probably not get enough caffeine and L-theanine (I think). So what should I drink or what pills should I take and how often should I drink it/eat the pills to get the most effect out of these chemicals?
Green tea contains Caffiene + a substance called L-theanine. The two together have a synergistic effect. Theanine reduces the negative effects of caffiene a bit, (anxiety, jitteryness). Caffine is one of the ultimate nootropics. Both great for longer attentiveness and focus, however sleep is just as important if not more important than anything. If you don't sleep you won't lock in the things you learned during the day. Also it will of course effect your overall performance. Attention, reaction time, etc. Not sure if you've made a vid on sleep importance but you could. Great book called "why we sleep" has some amazing information.

Rigel arizona green tea most likely won’t due to high amounts of sugar and fructose syrup. Try to home brew your green tea, it’s much healthier.

I play all the Battlefield’s and R6S on PS4 Pro, I honestly feel like I play better if a drink a couple beers instead 🤣 It makes me a bit looser, snap to targets without thinking easier. Drinking caffeine makes me really awake and bounce off the walls feeling, which I like, but I find I might overthink moves. I’ve tried drinking alcohol, then a bit of caffeine, I think that’s the right balance. 😅

Not really. Poongko was using Seth and Daigo never practiced the Seth matchup as Yun because Seth wasn't considered that good in America and Japan. After the Evo match Daigo studied the Seth matchup and had a first to 10 set in Japan against poongko and won 10 to 6.

just like anything over doing it or taking too much of something is always gonna lead to the bad side of the effects of what ur taking in, moderating the amount of caffeine depending on ur weight and height due to how much caffeine you can handle and find out how much is too much. For me the max is 300mg and i will get sick, where as my medium is 200mg and the effects of the concentrate pill one of it is all i need with water included of course, then theres the lower end where theres a small boost in energy through out the day without that concentrated or heighten mg of caffeine and thats coffee around 90mg or dr pepper at literally 48mg. Iv grown a tolerance to the lvls of caffeine in both cokes and coffee so they dont fit the purpose of long lasting boost. Moderating the daily amount of caffeine consumption is important, on both drinking water after drinking or taking caffeine at high amounts around 164 to 200mg will help plus eating something before hand is beneficial as well but thats help me personaly.

I've heard about l theanine and I've always wanted to try it. I've been using Fish Oil(you should talk about this) healthy body=;s healthy mind. It helps me immensely. I don't drink caffeine for the energy. I take it for the caffeine itself to keep me awake in the mornings haha. I love G Fuel which I use for the energy and caffeine aspect for it. Supplements are hit or miss however. L Theanine sounds really interesting. The thing about supplements is that they can be extremely shady so you have to find the right ones. Talk about "brain food" like fish oil I've tried fish oil and it's very beneficial I feel much more awake in the mornings.

Science says that it affects negatively the working memory, so you are not going to improve your skill that much. I usually drink coffe or energy drink like once per week, yesterday I drank like 2 or 3 cups and I played all the whole day, 15 hours of gaming without rest LOL, incredible. I couldn't sleep until 3:30 am.

Caffeine is simply a boost, good for the short term, but after a while it empties the tank.
Only works if you take it once a while, or else you get used to it and the effects decrease.

Ante Zovko try to cut the energy drinks as much as possible. a cup of coffee in the morning won’t hurt, but keep in mind that you might feel a crash in energy later in the day if not balanced with L-Theanine.

As someone who suffers from anxiety really badly, caffiene fucks with me way too bad to drink it unfortuantely.
One thing he forgot to mention, folks, caffeine is an appetite suppressant. I didn’t know this for the longest time, and I personally LOVE monster drinks, the white cans the teas. Amazing, but when my girlfriend forced me to weigh my self, I’m unhealthily under weight. Luckily we caught it before it could’ve gotten worse. But I’m supposed to be at 140 pounds, and I’m at 128 so I’m not extremely far off, but drinking these drinks regularly can effect you for sure. So time to cut these drinks out completely get back to my weight and move on. Lol Just wanted to spread my mini story with you guys to raise awareness. Happy gaming everyone!!

I had a friend he was really fucking good at rainbow six siege he was in a team and went on tournaments. He told me that when he plays he always drink chocolate milk and that it helps him to play ( it was a joke but it was true ).

I drink coffee when i play and i can stand my own when im getting into a champ lobby (top 200 in the world) but i find that i crash a bit to much... But then i run into players on addy and get dumped on and then just get off... But some really good points here! Thanks a lot.. Caffiene causes my aim to be off. In Rocket league. As someone who has taken every possible substance to improve performance, I can assure you, anything that throws off your brain chemistry will only serve to throw you off. What you need to do is go to sleep on time. Wake up on time. Hit the gym. Hit the most expensive protien supplements you can and if you have to take something the answer is Choline. The most absorbable form you can get. Look on nootropic webpages. Alpha GPC works great. Anything else will work, but ultimately cause your game to change into two states, when you're up and when you're down. It also becomes less effective over time.
