I was at my local bike park and was looking at this trail because my friend said I should before I hit it, and this guy absolutely flew by us at Mach 10. He hit a double black tech trail as fast as I would a blue jump trail. It turns out that that guy was my friend’s friend, and going on to race junior World Cup this year. It really is humbling to watch people that fast.

I'm voting along with everyone else for more of these
I’ve ridden all those trails quite a few times, and I can tell you Gee has an ungodly amount of speed.. 99% of mtb riders probably can’t even make it down that first rock roll..
Funny thing is, these features never look bad on camera. Even Hardline looks tame... I bet that thing is steep af in reality.

Easily the best of this series. Gee was clearly amazed how alive Mike still was at the end of the day.

WHAT a difference of level between a pretty good rider like Mike and a legend like Gee!
Reminds me of those great horse riders that literally become one unity with the horse, moving in perfect synchronicity with the animal.
Gee might not have had the best results this year, but there's no doubt in my mind he's still on of the most skilled and dedicated riders out there!! Best of luck for rampage and next year!

Watching this so close, is MENTAL. And they do this all the way down a trail... these are the bits they miss on TV, but EVERYthing he does is so deliberate and just mental as hell!

6:37 he makes a rough as guts section look like it's not even a problem. Mike was admirable on that section but he shows just how gnarly it actually is.

awesome vid . there is no comparison between a single crown fork and dual crown . dual crown makes it 10 times easier. so, Mike dude you are an awesome rider. Gee very smooth and fast of course but you should have had the single crown

Gee is so awesome everything is DH bike capable. Even with the smaller more agile bike, with more experience on those trails, the PB guy gets run over. I would’ve laughed if Gee would’ve put tire marks over his back as he was run over . That’s all I could think of....hilarious! 😂

mostly being a brute lets you hit turns like that, if you dont deadlift heavy and if you are not strong no amount of tutoring or practice will let you slam turns that hard.
Some reason i always didnt like gee and thought he was a bit full of him self. But this has completely changed my mind
I think it's how he comes across, but over last couple of years he's more in media spotlight and has developed friendlier look, not that he isn't
