Video is really great and informative! I wanted to know a few things if you guys make another video: when do you find out your duty station and what does that process look like to move with a spouse, do you all get a chance to go to follow on schools like airborne, AA,etc., and how far out before BOLC start did you all get a welcome packet and/or orders for BOLC? I graduated as a EOCC (end of camp commissioner) and curious about that or if you guys met someone in that situation.
You’ll learn enough material to pass the sec+. The net+, you may need to do some additional studying for. Whether or not they provide you an exam voucher is dependent on the time of the fiscal year and if they still have vouchers left. You’ll have to be persistent and ask your TACs for it. Secondly, the course is structured in a way that it assumes you have no IT experience at all. It’ll start with the basics and work up to more advanced topics. Like we said in the video though, net+ and sec+ are 5 days each so you’re getting a TON of info thrown at you in a relatively short time span. If you’re not too tech savvy then I would count on having to put in a little more study time then those that are tech savvy. Hope this helps!
Yea so Monday and Friday are company formation on Barton field. Tuesday-Thursday we still had to do PT, we just went to the Fort Gordon Gym. It’ll be up to your TAC’s and PT officer to decide how formal or strict those gym days are. Ours were pretty formal about it so we had a prescribed workout to do everyday. Hope that helps answer your question :)
Thanks for the video! I am scheduled to report to SBOLC in October really looking forward to it!

Very informative, thank you! Can you pls post part 2 of this series?
Two questions; do you get certifications in net + and sec + in the bolc ? Secondly could you get by without being too tech savvy ?

So is PT Tues-Thurs on your own time? I heard you say Monday and Friday there are formations, but what about other days?
