I’m not familiar with the Lake District and came across your brilliant video when looking for a suitable walk and wild camp. I went up on Tuesday and despite the wind, I had a great time, so thank you.
I just came accross your channel After first video I just hit the like button and did subscribe. The filming, the hikes and the warmth of your voice makes perfect pakage. 💪👍
There's something mesmering, watching your video. These places have a soul , certainly. The colors are so sweet, so divine. A somptuous camp , thank you for sharing this marvel 🧡🧡🧡
Not your average walking/wild camping video, a beautiful cinematic style. Enjoyed that very much, Upper Eskdale is a really special place. All the very best.
Such a beautiful place, brings back so many memories as a child because we always used to go to the Lake District in the summertime on holiday. Hoping to return soon to cycle Hardnott pass 😬😅 Subscribed!
Fantastic. I've been up there three times its a whole other world. My mates are off up there again with Alan's twelve year old lad. Thats going to be some adventure for him. You must have a look at Bow Fell if you are up there again. You can cut over from Lingcove Bridge or go up the valley to Esk Hause and then cut back.
Despite you not having your mic I enjoyed your voice over style. It added a calming element to the video. Coincidentally we've used the same music track in videos. Lovely track for your first voice over bit. I used it in my Sharp edge video. Some great drone shits here too
Thank you. I didn't really intend to film more just get to grips with things again so glad you enjoyed it. I have subscribed to your channel so I have it bookmarked but haven't had the chance to check out your videos yet so look forward to doing so!
Thank you. I think I've watched all of yours now 😅 and I like the style. I'm half way through filming my own witcher walk video taking in multiple sites and I like the way you integrated footage from the show using your TV. I need to work out how best I can do that
@@alexmagrath he's such a superfan of the book and the game, apparently it's because he felt the writers weren't staying true to the original work. But who knows, shame either way!
Can you just set up a tent and camp in the UK? Here in my country it is "illegal" and one would get fined, if caught (making stealth camping _really_ wel... "adventurous" 🙂 ).
In England and Wales wild camping is not a criminal offence or illegal. Basically as long as you stay away from houses or populated areas, you'll be fine. Sometimes a landowner or their representative might approach you and ask you to leave. If you listened to them and moved, then again, no issue. However if you refused to move, then it'd become a criminal activity and a landowner could call the police. In Scotland you can legally camp pretty much everywhere (Google the exceptions) for up to 2 days in one location and as long as you follow the code.
Lake District gov say it's "normally tolerated" if you follow the full wild camping ethos (which is obviously crucial). As above, you can be asked to move on which I would politely do so if requested (highly unlikely if you follow the wild camping ethos). Or you can reach out to the big land owners ✌🏼
Content is very good. If you learn and speak in hindi(indian language), your RUclips channel will grow exponentially. You can try with hindi subtitles. Best of luck
Your films are such a tonic. Thank you
Glad you enjoy them 😊
As if it were the dawn of time, thank you😀
I've always loved Hardknott. Many a fine day I've spent wandering there followed by a couple in the Woolpack and a hearty meal :)

Oh my goodness, good luck with that 😅 It always amazing me when I see people riding (or pushing/dragging 🤣) their bikes across Hardknott.

Thanks, I'm hoping to do one at Hodgeclose at some point. Sad Cavil has been recast now though!
@@FablesandFells yes me too I thought he was great in that role. Not sure why he's left but he's also left Superman 😔

Nice vid, but it's hard to make out what you are saying at times due to the music being too loud ...btw, my hearing IS very good.
Thanks, it was my second video, hopefully my edits have improved ✌🏼
Have to disagree. I found music and voice well balanced

Love your videos, but your lovely voice sometimes gets slightly lost in the mix .
Thanks for the feedback ✌🏼
Great video, but please turn down the music - hard to hear you over the music
Sorry you struggled with it 🙏🏼
