very very good video show the best shore fishing i ever saw . map, location, spot, tackles. you shoe all the things that shore fishing people hunger to know thanks very very much ,especially location and spot. Man your the BEST.
Hey, great video! Glad you had a great time. Just to give you the heads up, Kawartha lakes have no Pike. It's just musky in there plus walley e bass and others
Nice video, you were using the right baits for sure. I have a trailer on pigeon lake, I fish it every weekend and for 3weeks in the summer, love this lake. Where was the pike I haven’t seen one yet on this lake, I’ve caught over 50 bass in a morning just outside the river, subbed
Thank you. That was nogie's creek. There's a little launch right at the creek where it enters pigeon. lots of weeds, clear water. Got you back with a sub.
@@YFAwithTodd there is not many pike in this lake I’m surprised you caught one, a lot of guy will often kill the pike if there caught, if your up here ever again you will notice you catch much bigger smallmouth as the lake is infested with goby now.
@@crfishing1980 Good to know, thanks, I'll be there in the spring. Bigger smallies would be great! That's horrible about the pike. I think they're a blast to catch, don't mind putting a leader on.
@@theunluckyfisherman4845 yes it is, I was fishing a rocky shoal and u can see them every where, my trailer park had a kids fishing derby and in a span of 3 hours 28 goby were caught by the kids, I’ve caught many bass that have spit up goby’s
Awesome! I often fish Bobcaygeon! Caught a 43 inch Muskey once off shore, it was absolutely incredible. Is there any shore fishing opportunities in Nogies Creek? Cheers!
Thanks, man, I really appreciate the comment. Nogies' banks are privately owned with limited access, except for the boat launch, which is just a small dock, no place to walk down the shoreline. I'm doing another video about shore fishing the dam between Sturgeon L. and the Big Bob Channel, nice walleye. Enjoy!
I was just there July 20th and always fish in the channel where you are by the bridge haha and we don’t catch nothing lots of action tho what are you using mostly tho we’re going back up on the 25th this month thanks
Hey man, thanks for watching. I was using a 1/8 ounce unpainted tube head jig with a half of night crawler. Lots of small fish on the rocky sides / drop offs along the channel, some nicer ones near the dam or where the channel opens to pigeon lake. Good luck!
I was in the channel again yesterday, lots of fish on a 1/10th ounce ned rig, with a crawfish color body, 2.5 inches, lots of small smallmouth with some 13" mixed in. Man, try the dam, too, just a 1/8 jig, with an entire night crawler, whacky rigged, i'm putting out another video this week, 4 pound smallie beside the dam.
Very nice! I did another trip last week, editing the video now, but fall fishing there is insane. Not much topwater, but lots of fish on a 1/10 ounce Ned Rig with a Z Man canada craw body, lots of fish, Senko also worked, and at the dam, a whole night crawler whacky rigged. Drop offs at 5-15' deep. Good luck!
We own a fish hatchery, I am glad you did catch and release as no matter how many fish we produce, it is hard to keep up with what people take, I will physically go after you if you take like they were with smalls taking to Toronto thousands at a time daily, once we drove them away, the numbers came back up, illegal fishing disgusts me. We did not do all that work for you to pillage and plunder for a few bucks for cheap sushi
Thanks for doing that. It's important work. I'm a catch and release guy, but I respect people's decision to eat legal sized fish kept in numbers within the limits. A guy was practically begging me for a keeper-sized walleye I caught on the Big Bob dam this past weekend, he wanted to eat it, but he can catch his own! haha. I released it, it'll be in an upcoming video. Thanks for watching!
@@YFAwithTodd I can my daily limit of each specie there for eating knowing the Lake before it was flooded and where ponds were made or rock walls. fallen trees, stumps, etc, sandy or rocky, if everyone stuck with the current monitored legal limits it would be fine and sustainable and abundant. Same with deer, etc.
Yeah OMNR needs to get rid of the 5 bass/day limit with exemptions for tournaments with livewell release. No reason to make it legal to kill 5 bass/day per person. They're not even good eating.
@@jasonrekker4328 I was living off catching fish and it is enough to feed a family for a year even freezing them for the off Season and you basically want to catch right after the Season opens before the worms get bad, They finally allowed ice fishing on my Lake for certain species, and nothing tastes better than middle sized bass in butter, and I prefer perch, trout, walleye, and musky (2 10 lbs fillets last catch) any day over any store bought item.

great video! I live an hour away but fish further up north mostly. liked and subbed keep up the great work.
Thanks so much, man! much appreciated! It's great you can get up north to fish. 👊👍

FYI those gills on the Walleye are like razors and are much more dangerous that their teeth.
Great point. Walleye deserve TLC, for their safety (unless we're eating them) and ours! Thanks for watching.
