Epic release shots as usual! You caught some gorgeous looking fish. They were zipping drag!! That was a fantastic evening session. Nice video Todd!
Thanks, Henri! Very much apprecaited!
Liked the ending part of the video editing 😊
Thank you! Appreciated.
Is that a portable depth finder hanging off the side of your boat
It sure is. I use the portable with my kayak. $80 or so. Here's the full review: ruclips.net/video/0GLesCqWldQ/видео.html
Alot of nice video ty
@@rickyrishel8198 thank you so much!
Nice! What a fun video. The reel was really screaming.
Thanks so much for checking it out!

Thanks so much!
Some really nice action out there! 👍👊
Thanks so much!
Great trip man thanks for sharing!
Absolutely, thanks for watching!
Good stuff as always man. The bites recently have been very soft so we gotta hookset them immediately
Gulp Minnow for the win!!! If I was told I could only own and fish one artificial bait the rest of my life it would be the Gulp Minnow, they catch everything!!! Just don't be like me and spill the Gulp juice in your wife's car, I am no longer allowed to take her car when I go fishing LOL. I live in Huntersville and fish mostly local neighborhood ponds because my fishing time is limited, especially in the winter months when it gets dark so early, but on the weekends in the winter months I will try to make a few trips to the public fishing area at McGuire. It gets a lot of pressure there but there are always big ones blowing up on the surface and I have caught a few decent ones there in the past. If you haven't tried the Core Tackle Hover Rig, it works great, check it out. It also gives the bait that spiral downfall action, making the bait look like a dying bait fish and then snapping the rod up when the bait hits the bottom, causing an erratic side to side to side action which will get reaction bites from any fish that follows it down to the bottom.
Thanks for the tip, just picked up some Core Tackle Hover Rigs. Doing another trip to Norman on Saturday. Hahah, about you wife's car! Whoops. But that gulp juice flows quickly and I may have spilled an entire container or two, myself. Thanks for watching!
@@YFAwithTodd The hover rigs work good on Zoom flukes and stick baits/senkos. It gives the fish a different look at baits that are most commonly thrown in areas that get a lot of pressure.
It was cool to see how the bite progressed throughout the evening transition into dark. Great to see the fish busting bait around the boat too. Nice one, Todd!
Thanks so much, Tony!
Perfect timing for the morning coffee thanks 😊
Absolutely! Appreciated.
Thanks so much!
Always looking forward to your next video 😊
Hello based in Ontario ?
Might look that way, because I fish the Kawarthas so often, but I'm from Buffalo, NY, originally, now Pittsburgh PA. Thanks for watching!
@YFAwithTodd ah yes ok and you do 100% catch and release for pike? and for the walleye, do you release the big ones? above a certain size?
@@pierrehenneguez6648 Yup. The size limit for 'Eyes in the Kawartha area of Ontario is 13.8-19.7 inches (35-50 cm). Only walleye within this size range can be kept. Not sure about pike. I release all, anyway.
@@YFAwithTodd You, who come from the United States, do you often fish in the United States? generally a lot of people release pike in the United States?
@@pierrehenneguez6648 Yes, norther pike are typically released. Although a few do eat the pike.
Thanks for sharing and the tips!! I’ve have been struggling at pyma, have yet to get on an eye there 🤣 I can’t wait to get out and try some of your techniques!
I once caught a GIANT walleye there
Nice . I've heard of 'eyes being caught there... thanks for watching!
Great catch!
Thanks Tony!
Keep the videos coming! However, ditch the head mount GoPro. It gets a little nauseating watching. Instead opt for a bow mounted camera. Thanks and keep them coming!
Thank you! Appreciate the feedback. 🫵👍
Loved the video, some great brawls with the fish. The drag was really working!
Thanks so much! Appreciated.
Some good fights in this one buddy 👍
Thanks so much, man!
It’s 6 degrees here in southern Ohio today…
That's crazy. Pittsburgh is about the same. Great for the ice fishing people at least. Thanks for watching!
Always looking forward to your videos ty
Thanks, Ricky! Very much appreciated.
Way to go out after it with those temps. The belly on that striper 😂. Little ones are fun too. Nice job, Todd!
Thanks so much, Tony! Greatly appreciated.
Nice catch
Thanks Tony!
That wasnt a karen
Yup, agreed. Had "Karen" in quotes. So glad she was super nice and friendly. Thanks for watching!
Blu channel catfish..
Thanks for watching!
There’s no blue channel catfish. It’s either a channel cat or a blue cat.
Good norning, Todd and Happy New Year my friend. Stay healthy and keep on Fishing! 🍾🥂🎣🐟💯 🤙🏾 ruclips.net/video/PDPOc9y8SCQ/видео.html

Thanks so much, man! Appreciated.
You done better than me on the cats and I was actually trying to catch them. Lol.
Thanks so much, Scott. And thanks for watching!

@@MeTimeFishing thanks so much, Tony!
Nice walleye brother!..Got some really nice fights!👊👍
Love those style baits
@@Tinystrom thanks for watching!
Next time, Try the east side of the lake north of the Cemetery in those weed beds along the drop off from about 5'-7'- to 12'. Just be ready for a lot of Pike and Cats. But there's plenty of nice eating 16"-22" Walleye that hang just inside those weed beds. On a good day with a North wind, You can just drift along and you don't even need to run the gas engine. We typically hit this area with our bigger 26' Lake Erie boat with family that does like the big lake.
@@Pyle81 thanks so much. I will definitely check it out. I’m still exploring mosquito Lake, myself, so that helps.. And thanks for watching!
I've caught back to back 30" eyes at puma.
@@DanielPlainview-z1x amazing Lake . No doubt. Thanks so much for watching!
Suppose we all know where to go next time
Yup. The 'eyes are chasing massive schools of shad all around the southern section of the lake, all winter, into March. I didn't show it, but the jigging rap was snagging shad on every other cast. But they eye's are there too. Mostly biting at night, but lots are caught during the day. Thanks for watching!
Excellent fish and video! I just liked. Thx also for the comment on my channel. I just thought I’d reciprocate.
The bite was on fire!
@@Arrigo_Outdoor_Adventures heck yeah! Thanks so much for watching. 🙏😎
