Indeed it is a great alternative to the MK2 golf and looks a little better in my opinion when tastefully modded. It's also not as hard to find an EF hatch than it is to find an unmolested Golf GTI that's for sure :)

Do you track this at all? The EF/EG/EK are all excellent track day cars. Even ones with B16A's can give a moderately-well driven 911 a run for their money. Nice pulls

Probe gt with 147hp? Or 160hp? surely not faster. A stock ef9 ee9 with 150hp is even a tiny bit quicker. Or maybe its a mph kmh thing? Because that is a german spec ee9. So its kmh.
99Lezard99 Ford underrated that motor. They run with Charger SRT8's with few mods and really junkyard parts to make an efficient 15psi. Don't let google fool you. Even stock with something like an ebay fmic they're chunky.
