this band is uplifting depressing and fun in all sorts of ways they're punk in so many regards. the guitars always sound like they're on clean but it's because I'm used to high gains, but if this is you're first time listening to em I suggest their acoustic punk songs they sound tougher and much more real than any punk song with electric guitar just cause it feels honest

As long as you have that rambunctious, fuck you attitude with a few friends, Punk will NEVER EVER die... It's more about the attitude than the music. Get Dead is my newer band, BTW. Their first album is more acoustic, but "Honesty Lives Elsewhere" sounds like it could've been made in the mid-90's. The raspy voice, the great guitar melodies, the drum rolls... Great stuff! I agree with fla playa, give it two more years, the 90's Punk Rock sound will make a comeback. The songs are super catchy, the lyrics in Punk are always with the times and this type of music makes hearts bleed!!! Fat and REAL Pop-Punk will make a comeback especially with the doc that just came out. Yeah, yeah, yeah... Say what you will but the Punk of the late 80's and early 90's was Pop-Punk. Punk Rock attitude, with a lot of Pop melodies. Bands like Simple Plan, Fall Out Boy and All Time Low are POP bands with distorted guitars
