If you think about it, I mean if you think of people as these accidental meat blobs with sentients, the eyeball is pretty grotesque. I mean, strip out all of the romantic notions about windows to the soul, strip out the subjective attractiveness of the iris, and just consider it as a semi-transparent ball of mucous and veins, for absorbing light, it's pretty horrifying. ... get them out...
