- Finally got this done. Top new stuff this year: show is now full HD, the green slime, the house owner finds out about his house's secret, and the house has a hand to eat you with. I wish we lived by you! LOVE the new additions to your haunt. The grabbing hand and 'That house wants to eat you!' song. The ghost of the little girl at the end creeped me out. BRAVO!
That has got to be the creepiest/coolest display I've ever seen. It actually gave me chills!
This is really incredible. I haven't seen anything like it or as good anywhere. The pumpkins and the songs are fabulous, THE SLIME!!, the creepy skeleton teeth... all your originality is wonderful. Talented in many respects. Kudos!!

Wow...amazing. No words to describe this one. The best version of the house yet. When almost the whole house goes dark, that was the coolest part- I screamed in excitment. The lucky people that get to experience the house in person! Amazing stuff and great video quality too. :) Happy Halloween! You should think about Christmas for your house too!

50 to 100 feet away depending on the spot in the projection. It is in a 16' high tower in my neighbors back yard.
the KISS pumpkins are awesome man, this is one of the few residential haunted houses id go see. these other "light show" houses are boring

I use a single $1500 projector, but I started with one that is now only $400 ish. This can be done really cheap actually.

@downerdarko89 Thanks. I'm using the Panasonic AE4000U now, but my old Sharp Notevision was OK too. Really anything works...
@AJ90NI Right, this next year I'm considering two projectors for a special effect. We'll see if I can get it to work.

I would like to do this and have tried to lay the ground work for it. I want the whole thing to be assembled in real time as well. One of the the biggest challenges comes down to transmitting high quality HD video reliably across the street in sync with the audio coming from my side of the street. I have tried a bunch of different software and gadgets but all have failed for one reason or another. If anyone has a suggestion...

You can create your own haunted house video mapping for Halloween using TABULA FaçadeSignage software.
Most of them like it very much. I try not to be too irritating with the sound. They do say that they buy a lot more candy ;-)
