This is what our Halloween house projection for 2014 looks like from across the street. Our show this year includes original songs and animations, and stars lots of friends from our neighborhood!
The spooky house overlay is an original digital painting done by one of my daughters, while another daughter did all the card animation. Talented girls!
The skeleton band and spiders were created with Reallusion iClone. The songs the band plays are original and I performed the vocals myself.
If you look closely in the lower right corner of the frame you can see the box I built to house the projector. It features a waterproof stereo and marine speakers from www.rocktheboatmarinestereo.com

Most of our neighbors are good sports, but I'm not sure all of them share our enthusiasm! :-) The street in front of our house gets busy sometimes!

May I ask, in this particular video, what particular make and model of projector are you using, and what distance was it set from the home? I'd like to do this, but I don't have a very deep front yard, and much like you, have multiple depths to my home's structure.

I don't have a short throw projector but I am using a 3000 Lumen Projector which is bright enough for the setup I have, and I'm trying this out using HeavyM Projection mapping Software. Nowhere near ad good as yours. Wish I knew how to do this.

This is beyond awesome. Would have loved using my projector for something like this for Halloween instead of just atmosfear fx projections. Also, I loved Halloween Nightmare song!!!

I have ideas of a combination of audio, and projection mapping on dynamic surfaces, that also have programed LEDs, mirrors, and lasers. I think you could do some crazy stuff on a disco ball.

what is the projector being used here ? and what is it's brightness in Lumens it looks amazing
It is just a basic BenQ short throw projector, XGA resolution and 2500 lumens.
Did you animate the skeletons in the band yourself?
Sort of. The actual movements are captures of a musician performng, but I blended small clips of it together to match my music and modified them. Also added the lip sync.

It's a royalty free music track I purchased to which I added a melody and lyrics that I wrote myself.
Well, to say it "rocks" would be an understatement, but IT DOTH ROCK! May I use it on my Halloween compilation I make every year? I will send you a copy (not that You need it :)

Ha ha! You must have got it confused with another card. All of the original 6 cards have been replaced with different cards. There is no way your original card is still there. :-)

No, your video can be much longer than that. There is no limit really.

Way cool, question? If you were to put Black or Blue spotlight on your house would you get the same effect
I've never heard of a black spotlight before. A blue spotlight would just give you a big blue spot on your house.

+Alexander Anderson The only way it couldn't work is if you misread the card you chose. None of the cards in the first set you choose from are in the second set displayed. :-)
