Bates Haunt 2012

This year we added a big production number for the 10th anniversary of our haunt with a cover of "Grim Grinning Ghosts" from Disney's Haunted Mansion and Phantom Manor. Otherwise the show is exactly the same as the 2011 version. Check our channel for individual versions of each of the songs, or you can watch a complete version here.
I really wanted a big production number for the 10th anniversary. After writing two other songs they just weren't big enough. I decided to do a cover of the song that inspired all the music in my show "Grim Grinning Ghosts". There are tons of arrangements of this song, so I decided I wanted to do a medley of some of the different versions. I love John Debney's score for Phantom Manor (the version of The Haunted Mansion at Disneyland Paris), so most of this is an arrangement of his arrangements. Credits go to John Debney, Buddy Baker, and X Atencio for the amazing original song and orchestrations. We recorded brand new ghosts and a (sorta lame) skeleton dance for this one all in the last 24 hours before Halloween (documentary coming soon).
