Leg day never feels good for me. I hate every second of them, which is kinda weird because I love upper body days. Maybe because they're larger muscle groups so I get gassed way quicker?
Leg days are always the most painful for me, then after the workout muscle soreness builds up until it peaks about 2 days after and is gone maybe 4-5 days after depending on how used I was to the stimulus
@@CloudCollapseI think it's because legs are more adapted to stimulation since we all walked/ran or did any kind of physical activity that involves leg muscles. That's one factor and, furthermore, glutes+quads+hams+calfs are huge muscles.
I’m a muslim, this shit is real when i do my prayers on 2 days after my Leg day. Somehow the leg sore i have to go through during that 5-time prayers at the day makes me much stronger for the incoming gym session. 😂
DOMS (delayed onset muscle soreness) legs typically take 2 to 3 days to heal and the repaired tissue is sore as it heals. Train legs correctly twice a week with 2 or 3 days in between. Each muscle group has different healing rates.
@@kristaaaay7952You're telling me you work out and never knew about that? That's super basic when talking about novel stimulus to a muscle whether it adapts over time or not.
This feeling is nothing in comparison to what I expected last time. I had muscle soreness for 12 days... You can no longer get up or even move in bed from one side to another because it hurts like hell. You can't get your socks/shoes on. I mean...you can eventually, but it hurts like hell. When you laugh or sneeze it is the worst (of course I got a flu exactly in that period, so it was wonderful).
Same but it happened with leg day. Went like a year without working out. Went back and decided to do the same routine i did a year ago, same intensity and everything. Bad fucking idea. Getting up from the bed was like fighting a damn bear with how much i suffered lmao.
@@aspiringprogrammer2820 Nah man. While muscular fatigue does mean you are going at your limit and improving rapidly, don't overwork yourself.
