I'm not a singer, I play the Tenor Saxophone. This video is brilliant and introducing the concept of numbers (1-8) rather than traditionally singing (Do - Re - Mi - Fa - Sol - La - Ti - Do) made more sense to me when transfering the singing skill to an instrument. I was struggling to hear pitch changes and follow scale intervals to improvise or mimic the playing of others. Saxophone ear training lessons encourage you to sing the intervals but I needed this video to teach me how to do that. Thank you.

I did too. But with practice it fades away. It's like when u exercise for the first time and for the 100s time. Pls do it in the correct way.
