stop breathing. what i mean by that is don't force your exhale. let it flow naturally. kind of consciously hold your breath just a little bit while letting little bit of exhaling air out of your body
ha ha.. Glad I can help. If you feel that guilty you can find courses and vocal exercise programmes on my website that you can purchase 😀 www.singersadvice.com
Wow, this is SUPER helpful! Sometimes singing advice can be quite monotonic but this video makes the advice on clear sound all so real! Amazing! Thanks, Sarah! :-)
This stuff is accurate, and if you're having trouble I find it much easier as long as you have the proper breath support and you sing using your diaphragm. It helps to keep you from being too nostrilly.

interesting points ,if anyone else is searching for how to sing like a pro try Jaffacter Super Singer Coach(do a google search ) ? Ive heard some amazing things about it and my co-worker got great results with it.
It’s complicated, but letting air into your nasal cavity creates ‘nasalance’ and not nasal resonance. When we sing (in most languages), we want a high soft palate and no air going into the nasal cavity.

You are raising your larynx up too high and choking your sound off. Practice songs in a lower range until you learn the proper way to sing, if you haven’t already.
When I say ga gay ga go gu with my nose closed it sounds fine but when I close my nose and say me it sounds so muffled I can get one me to sound normal
Thank you for this very helpful advice! How often do you need to do this to get good results? Is it ok to do very frequently? Or it might be tiring or lead to unwanted side effects?

It's my pleasure
Thanks ! Great explanation and good vibe ;) ... great voice ! ... all the best :)
But isn't some air supposed to get through the nose so there's some nasal resonance??
interesting points ,if anyone else is searching for how to sing like a pro try Jaffacter Super Singer Coach(do a google search ) ? Ive heard some amazing things about it and my co-worker got great results with it.
Edwin Myers yes but i think its not to the point that you sound weird with nose pinched.
The nose is one of the major resonators, so to completely eliminate it would be to reduce tonal quality
Yes, but don't over do it or you'll sound like a jackass.

Wtf?my voice sounds like cracking and not clear how can i fix this?
viktor magtanggol you most likely permanently damaged your vocal cords
But my nose get blocked everytime i start singing
You are raising your larynx up too high and choking your sound off. Practice songs in a lower range until you learn the proper way to sing, if you haven’t already.
Thank you for sharing.
Your welcome.

Can you explain a bit more about what you mean in terms of foggy. Does it feel strained when you sing or that there is something in the way? 😀
Singers Advice im not sure how to explain it, i think i just have a really thick voice and i dont enjoy it :/
Is it just me or anyone else thinks she looks like pheobe buffey from "F.R.I.N.D.S."?
i still sound nasal when i close and open my nose.. help?
