I love that the move animations are just lifted from Pokken. That game gave Chandelure so much personality so I'm glad it's here

@@rileyrocks7373 Yeah it still has a decent playerbase from what I've seen. It'll be hard to get used to at first just like any other fighting game though.
The decrease in cooldown might be due to increased base cooldown reduction due to leveling up. A lot of pokemon have increased base CDR once they reach certain levels ^^
Chandelure's Unite Move be like:

I feel like imprisoned is going to be great in teamfights. Especially going against the murder doggo cause it can shut him down quickly with a single move.

4:15 not really. mostly every sp. atk character in the game gets cooldown reduction at lvl11 and lv13. that seems to be the cause for that additional cdr. this can be confirmed on unite-db.

Chandelure was one of my favorite pokemon in X & Y and also Pokken. I can't wait to give em a try when they release. Wonderful breakdown

Honestly I couldn't see Imprison actually preventing you from acting, even though you were the first (and only) target the enemy Chandelure was targeting.
It looked like each time it just Move Locked you and that was it.

i am so excited for chandelure and so happy that it won't cost like 14'000 coins but still frustrated that it is gem locked and i am pretty sure that every new mon will be gem locked which is so sad:(

Cooldown reductions arn't happening because of you upgrading moves or hidden mechanics, it's due to the pokemon getting natural cooldown reduction from levels. Same as (most) other SP attackers.

You forgot to mention that there's a built-in cooldown for Overheat depending on how many hits you miss. The less of them actually hit an enemy or wild Pokemon, the faster you get it back.
I feel like imprison will break ray fights if they are clumped up, being unable to unite is a big deal! (If it locks out all moves and not just basic that is)
An excellent lane attacker. It has enough disables to defend itself from any ambush.

To me, it feels like shell bell, amp and choice are the best items. Max cooldown reduction and even greater damage on the unite.
Considering that Chandelure relies on short cooldowns and multihits I would advise to go for Spoon instead of Choice (but Wise works too)
@Usah Knights i thought about that but if you are doing that many attacks and that frequent, you can get that extra burst of damage every 8 seconds. Generally, that damage is more than what wise glasses can offer with the 7%. I dont think spoon will work as much since we dont know how the additional 20% will scale. Is it additive to the 8 stacks or multiplicative? If its additive then yes spoon is better but multiplicative is worse and would be useless.
@Usah Knights the math core lf unite db, said that on gengar which has some magic penetration for one of its builds is worse to have spoon than shell and that you do more damage with shell bell than spoon because of its existing special defense penetration
