I love how we interpret 50% accuracy as a "most likely miss"
50% accuracy and 80% accuracy are the same accuracy
Say it with me everybody, if its not a 100% accurate, its 50% accurate. If its 50% accurate, it's 1% accurate 😌 (or i think thats how the mandjtv saying goes 😂😅)
Fun Fact: not counting Megas, Legendries or Ultra Beasts, Chandelure has the highest base sp.atk in the entirety of Pokémon
Another fun fact: 2 other pokemon also share this distinction which are cursola and vikavolt at 145 spatk.

I love this strategy! Tera Grass for covering against Water types, and the Flash Fire to prevent super effective hits. Genius.
I like how you say “when we most likely miss”, even though 50% accuracy is by definition an even chance of missing - it always feels like they miss more often than they should 😂
I’m sure you’ve heard this a bunch already, but the best addition to your battle videos is you talking about the strategy you’re using. As someone who hasn’t completed a Pokémon game since X and Y or played competitive since HG/SS, it’s nice to hear.

Oh man I used to run chandelure all the time when I was playing more actively; ran a modest infiltrator set with substitute, hex, energy ball, and will o wisp, and it worked amazing whenever I could bring it to the field at a time that forced a switch

Awesome match. Definitely gonna share it with my girlfriend when she gets off work. She really likes Chandelure, and she'll pop a squat sometimes when she hears me listening to one of your videos. Super cool that you're trying to expand on your content/business model since you're now able to do it more full-time. Not sure how long I can stay subbed to the new content since we just dropped money on our first house, but I gotchu my dude for at least the initial month. Coming back to this video to comment; I've been running this Chandelure on a team I built recently, and I had TWO separate battles where Inferno hit twice in a row and my oppenent DC'd. Out of like 10 battles I've done today it has only missed once out of around 6 times lol. Task failed successfully lol. Love the vids Haydunn!
Another fun Chandelure strategy I've used: Trick + Flame Orb. It's a 100% accuracy item stealing burn applicator. Not bad at all honestly, pain split, shadow ball, flamethrower, whatever. Can't burn yourself so it's only drawback is being single use and you MIGHT get a shifty item 😅 Mostly I like taking somethings choice band and burning it
I used this kind of Chandelure moveset before and it's not bad! I made mine a bit more defensive though for this strategy, yet still have max EV's for Special Attack. I recommend you switching out Shadow Ball for Hex though when using this strategy, I mean...Hex does double damage when the opponent is inflicted with status, so stab 130 Ghost move will hit harder than Shadow Ball. Though you're sacrificing immediate damage for that high damage.
It baffles me how you find a use for every single pokemon. You should make a video about this
Chandelure is my favorite gen 5 pokemon. Not the strongest by any means, but the haunted house feel is sweet.

I was never any good with online battles, that's why I never got the shiny legendary birds in Pokemon sword and shield. But after watching your videos for just the last 2 weeks, I've become a far better online player!

I like using Blunder on Moxie Krookodile. I used to run Scarf but this way is more fun. Lol.
Poison/Ground (Defensive/Ofensive) tera with Gunk Shot, Stone Edge, Crunch and Stomping Tantrum.
The idea is to go for a low accuracy move on a switch from the opponent, if it misses, Blunder activates and you can go for a Stomping Tantrum with its damage boosted, maybe even more if you go for the Ground Tera.

I still use inferno with my accuracy boosted by either gravity or baton passing someone’s coil or hone claw boosts it’s cool when ghost fire mons like typhlosion hisuan know inferno & hex together it’s a pretty great combo

You should give acid armor body press goodra a try. Run scald for special coverage and rest hydration to heal. Find some way to keep rain up so you always get one turn sleep. It can be a scary unexpected sweeper.

I didn't think you could pull the potential out of Inferno. For me, a move that despite 100 power and guaranteed burned enemy, but half the times will be missed is too big a risk to reward. Maybe if it was a 60% chance....
