Can't believe you stroll in with that team against theirs in the last match, and absolutely bully them to the point you don't even get to use our boy Groot. Absolute G
2 battles in a video is just about perfect for me. A single battle is enjoyable to watch especially when you're showcasing a fun strat and it leaves me with wanting more. So getting to watch another one with a few variables changed around is like getting an encore performance. Thanks for all that you do. Fantastic video
For real I get so excited when I see Hayden us the gen 1 poison boys (muk and tentacruel) cause I always thought they were corny and when I saw him destroy some over used mons, I was a fan for life
First battle is an example of why type diversity is so important. That three Fairy strat ended up being their downfall, plus they didn’t tera for even one of them.
11:00 What a satisfying turn. You got your rocks back up, stopped a setup sweep, took out their Tera AND took out their hazard control. All in one turn.
That 2nd match is the reason I subbed to Hayden. Watching an Ubers team get absolutely outplayed brings me much satisfaction...especially when it loses to a Meganium.
Two battles per video is so clutch. Also, it’ll never not be hilarious to walk into a match against OUs with Pokémon most people don’t even use during their single player playthroughs and you still manage to win. Never change, Hayden!
I'm fairly new to the Haydunn hype train and I am so grateful for your videos. Completely changed my mindset when it came to battling. I was so upset they got rid of battle tower this generation but your videos gave me the inspiration to battle online and I actually really love it! I hated the overuse of legendaries, but your creative strageties have allowed me to really let my team thrive. Thank you for helping me enjoy Pokemon again, I'm back on my staying up till 6am battling sessions and couldn't be happier.
Yesssss, I hated this ‘mon from the original games since tentacool would always spawn while surfing to Cinnabar Island and they’d usually poison at least one of my ‘mons during the long trek there. However it ended up being one of my first random shinies in later gens, the teal shade of their “crystals” immediately grew on me and they shot up to one of my favorites to use especially after I realized they’re quite bulky and hit pretty strong too!
Man the sets and strategies you come up with never disappoint! Keep up the great work haydunn! So glad your doing these daily uploads and having as much fun making and putting these videos up as we do watching them :) never a dull moment in your videos that's for sure 😂❤ between the nicknames, the commentary, the sets it's a great little package of shenanigans and fun that's made me love your uploads for years, keep it up!
Caught a shiny Tentacruel all the way back in Diamond and named it "LL Cruel J". It even looks like it's wearing a Kangol bucket hat! Thought it was clever back then. I'm so glad to see someone else went with the same idea.
The most creative i get with tentacruel was in gen 7 with magic coat to bounce back hazerds and taunt to stop them from try set again, never think in use sword dance
Loving these videos of underused or appreciated pokemon getting second wind. Things just get predictable when players use the same overused mons, so good to mix things up
Fun fact: Urshifu in that second match was confirmed Scarf due to Hayden's Tentacruel being 252 speed. Urshifu is base 92 speed and Tenta is base 100. Only way he could *maybe* not be Scarf is if he's Jolly and Tenta is not, but that's mainly because I'm not a perfect speed calculator - Tenta might outspeed regardless
Is it really that low?! I always assumed that this thing would outspeed everything except my Meowscarda so I would always play so scared, keeping my Meowscarda safe until it was time to kill that thing.
Even though i picked five Pokémon you actually forfeit while facing against me, I’m surprised because i was at a disadvantage without my thunderous which i forgot to add.
Hey there haydunn, I gotta a challenge for you. One of my favorite my favorite pokemon as a kid was kricketune. Unfortunately though hes one of the worst Pokemon. With tera though he might have an opportunity to shine. Do you think a team that revolves around setting up kriketune to sweep is possible?
Im thinking of setting up sticky web early in the match with a different pokemon so not to risk kricketune Speed and attack is key and kricketune must be not be hit as he is squishy. Possibly one hit can be taken. Tera into a different type can help offset your bug weaknesses BUT you could double down and use bug tera for more damage. Priority moves will be the enemy. Must plan to get around. You could set up psychic terrain to nullify these moves for 5 turns and boosting the psychic type in acceptable cause its not very effective to bug. He does have sword dance but here me out...fell stinger. It raises you by 3 attack stages and is 75 power with technician. It only gives the buff if you knock out a pokemon with it. The ultimate high risk high reward... I have no idea what the item should be. Other good moves are trailblaze for coverage and speed boost. Taunt for setting up turns to sword dance. Giga impact for a risky nuke botton. Substitute for...well...substitute... Sing for stupidly extremely risk 55/45 sleep chance and of course protect. Cant see anything else being of use but knowing you theres probably something.
Love these little strategy intros! Very curious about the use of “live” instead of “survive” (I.e. “I can live this hit”) - is that a common term in competitive?
Yeah, it's been a go-to Special Wall in just about every tier it falls in since Gen 2. In Gen 1 it was the absolute threat that defined the tier of UU. It was even OU in Gen 4 and 5. Sadly, power creep has bumped it down to RU the past two gens but it's still a solid Pokémon.
This goes to show if you know how to use mons and understand their potential, you can build and have success with everything, playing the game the way it was meant to be played. It’s not just meta
If 2 things have the same Speed Stat the game coin flips who moves first so a really fast thing might end up in a tie. Slower bulky things often do not go that fast even account for the drop.
@Haydunn yo fyi the video description says this is under Sword & Shield videos in YT Games. Idk if that matters for YT algorithms or not but figured I should say something. Might get more views if it was under S/V!
Can't believe you stroll in with that team against theirs in the last match, and absolutely bully them to the point you don't even get to use our boy Groot. Absolute G
As an absolute Hitmonchan fan, the lack of Groot plays pains me lol
Uber/OU noob falls before Regigigas and Meganium. You gotta love it.
Why do you guys try so hard to sound like haydunn in these comments 😂
@@JamesSmith-tk2pb most likely kids emulating someone older that they like. happens all the time

Every video from this dude in a nutshell. 🔥
Bro, you’re at 69 likes as of now
4:25 You can tell that Clefable was Magic Guard because it didn't take any stealth rock damage
Unaware Clef will sometimes run HDB to not tip their hand early
@@mikau2123the origin of the "yo he got them fake MAGIC GUARDs"
He said it was in the video lol
you really cant when there are a lot of clefs with HDB Unaware running around.
19:02 warmed my heart like nothing else, as someone who's first Starter was Chikorita

They were prolly fairy too

We all witnessed a Meganium commit outright crimes in that second match

LLCruelJ has to be one of my all time favorite names youve given your Pokemon always top tier names😂
🔥 name
I never thought I'd hear someone say Meganium is their answer to Urshifu

Probably a young player using a team code from smogon with no idea how to pilot it
Sweet vid! I love these ones with multiple battles, watched this one while eating lunch and it was the perfect duration.
Everybody's chill until swords dance Tentacruel shows up to stir some shit up!

I love the nickname, I always name my Tentacruel or Toedscruel “Cruelwhip” but I might like yours better lol.

“Ya wittle scweens”😂😂😂
Always enjoy the double battle video really enjoying the draft videos too
Loved his everyone in the team pulled weight on that second battle
14:45 Question, why not Recover and fish for a full Paralysis?
Expecting the Horn Leech, you would basically give it all the chip damage back in health if the paralysis didn't trigger, not worth the risk.
Tenta getting a 3rd evolution would be sick
My Boi Haydunn always coming with the bangers. Keep the 2.0 matches coming bruv!
Haydunn your content is always amazing, and even if you’re having trouble learning Draft you’re still my team force the SPL! I BELIEVE IN THE DREAM!
If I ran Urshifu and Ogerpon HF and got beat by a Meganium and slow start Regigigas, I'd have to quit the game.
Love the pace of these videos. It’s like Wolfey learned how to be way more concise
What you did with Tentacruel was clever it reminds me of Swords Dance Ludicolo another underrated powerhouse mon. You should try using that too
"anything becomes a sweeper with enough swords dances"
He just makes every pokemon good pichu can sweep soon
Is assault vest clawitzer any good? I'd like to use one on my team.
I'm rooting for you in the SPL league get some wins my guy

Tentacruel is top dog in Gen 1 UU, 100 speed and Wrap is no joke in RBY
You're making me a huge Bastiodon fan! What's the EV spread on it? Max def and atk? Love the videos!
Probably max hp max defence
Prob HP + Defense
Is LLCruelJ a teamfourstar refrence or is it just an LLCoolJ refrence

Ok, you did it. I now stan for the jelly boi
Crawdaunt can be an absolute menace in the trick room with adaptability! 😱
Don't even need the Trick Room. Banded-Tera Water-Aqua Jet Sweep.
You keep dunking on Meganium but it comes in clutch a lot in these matches.
Even though i picked five Pokémon you actually forfeit while facing against me, I’m surprised because i was at a disadvantage without my thunderous which i forgot to add.
I'm literally just here for the dope ass nicknames. But I learn something like every time

Love these little strategy intros! Very curious about the use of “live” instead of “survive” (I.e. “I can live this hit”) - is that a common term in competitive?
Live as in “i can live until im 80 years old” not “are you going to watch the game live”.
You make great content bro, keep it up!
Just realized Haydunn said it's "Taco Tuesday", and dropped the vid on a Tuesday.
Damn that second match…. That’s skill
Yes! Love this mon 🦑!!

Jesus I never knew his special defense was so good

That first team you played was TOXIC you mean they brought grim ninetails and clefff 😅
I love the model of Meganium in the new games. Hopefully it gets some love in the near future.
Ah, the cruel tentacle of fate
Easily my fav poketuber
When I think of a Tentacruel I think of a giant pain in the ass while using surf
More multi battles please. Also, what nature was your Tenta?
Now I’m craving a sandwich made with jellyfish jelly
It really was Taco Tuesday, nice
Haydunn makes a Taco Tuesday joke: 😂 🌮
You realize it’s a Tuesday: 🤯
Awesome build. You should try to make a Luvdisc team for Valentines Day 💝
Meg the GOAT
It was indeed taco Tuesday 🌮
Would love to see a volt tackle pikachu set or a weezing set
I'm just happy Meganium won a game..
you should try doing another match where you special attackers as physical. It's fun to watch people trip up on the change up
You absolutely love to see Urshifu getting wrecked by a Meganium

I used that same nickname for my tentacruel when i played fire red
“We’re gonna get greedy over here” 😂😂
could you try to turn tinkaton into a sweeper of some sort
I've seen too much Haydunn to know where this is going
